List threads are redundant. I don't say anything about the Search Bar usually, but seriously, Search Bar.

Copy Pasta at its finest, from my blog.

10. Chrono Trigger DS, As I said before, im not a fan of JRPGs,(at least not modern ones) but again, Chrono Trigger's greatness over rules genres, with a combat system that you can tweak to your liking, interesting characters, and TIME TRAVEL. Fuck Yes.

9. Fallout 3, Sadly Ive never played a Fallout game before this, but if there anything like this one, I will gladly try. It is chock full of places to see, and things to do, like GTA mixed with Bioshock, Sweet.

8. Pokemon Red, My first JRPG, and maybe my first possibly my first game EVER, Pokemon Red is unforgettable, and still a fun expirience that they really need to stop copying over and over again.

7. Mass Effect, This is my favorite RPG ever, partially because I dont really like JRPGs, and partially because I love how It has a open world(or galaxy), and I can customize my character AND my gun!

6. Super Mario Bros 3, what can I say that hasnt been said a million times, its Super Mario Bros 3.

5. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Most people think that the best LoZ was Ocarina of Time, those people dont agree with me, I love LoZ, and I REALLY love A Link to the Past

4. Super Metroid, This is the best SNES game hands down. It has some of the best controls in the franchise, useful and interesting upgrades, and music that is soundtrack worthy.

3. Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, I'm probably alone on this, but when I was 5(im 13) I got my N64, and my favorite game wasn?t LoZ, or Mario, it was Kirby, and it still is the best N64 game.(IMO)

2. Metroid:Zero Mission, Honestly, I dident really care for the original Metroid, but Zero Mission gets rid of all of my nit-picks, and is, in my humble opinion, the greatest 2-D game of all time.

*drum roll*

1. Halo: Combat Evolved, I used to not be a huge gamer, I just played N64 and Gameboy, until one day I went to my friends birthday party and he had fucking Halo. Hell yes. At that point I had never played a FPS besides Goldeneye, and this just BLEW MY 5 YEAR OLD MIND, and to this day, I still love to play it, just for old times sake, and even thou it is almost ten years old, it stands up to the test of time, as my favorite game ever. (yes I see you Half Life and Call of Duty your great too)

List threads are pointless and most often just make jaded people like me eyetwitch at the bad taste people have.

In a particular order, here it goes.

Tied for first place are Fallout 3(X360) and TESIV: Oblivion(X360). I've spent countless hours playing both these games. I love the exploration, the settings, the combat and the storylines. I've managed to squeeze more hours than I'm supposed to out of these games and I still play them both to this day. Truly fantastic games.

In third place(since first place was two games) is Saint's Row 2(X360). Now at first, I preferred the first Saint's Row. It took me a while to get into the sequel. Now, I love it because of it's humour, improved customization and the addition of of crazy and zany unlocks and outfits. What's funner than cannonballing out of a Russian hind chopper in an alien suit, only to hit the floor completely unscathed? I've yet to find anything better than that.

In fourth place goes Pokémon Gold(GBC). A great game I remember fondly from my childhood. yes, I do still play it today as well. The Johto series brought the best pokémon, the best region and the best replayability. Sadly, I only play it on an emulator but it still retains it's level of entertainment.

In fifth place goes Battlefield Bad Company(X360). This FPS is one of my favorite's due to it's humour, gunplay and masterful handling of vehicles in multiplayer. It also has a great selection of guns, as all FPS' should.

In sixth place is Saint's Row 1(X360). This was the first game Xbox 360 game I ever played, and it is still one of my favorites. It had a fantastic singleplayer, with great story progressions. It had brilliant cars, guns, music and characters.

In Seventh Place is Kingdom Hearts II(PS2). I've always like this game because of it's blend of Final fantasy and Disney. When I played the first Kingdom Hearts, I was drawn from childhood nostalgia mixed with my new found love for Final Fantasy X. The sequel improved on everything the first game did right and provided a fantastic second part to the Kingdom hearts story.

In Eight Place is Grand Theft Auto:Vice City Stories(PSP). I was never a big fan of Vice City, but VCS drew me in. It provided me with sandbox fun on my hands. It had a brilliant story mode, which immersed me as I grew attached the the characters. I really enjoyed this for it's humour and it's well written story.

In Ninth Place is Star Wars Battlefront II(PS2). It's a great shooter which I fell in love with because of it's Star wars background. I used to come home after school, pop the disc in and play my favorite maps over and over. It provided me with hours of entertainment and I liked it so much I re-bought it for Xbox after I sold my PS2.

In Tenth Place is Pokémon Colleseum(Gamecube). I enjoyed this title because it it's link to Gold and Silver, and that it introduced stealing pokémon instead of catching them. It also had the unique 'Shadow Pokémon' who could not level up unless you 'opened the door to their heart'. This provided me with a lot of fun, stealing and then purifying Shadow Pokemon.
