This looks great, although I would have hoped they'd moved past the Spess Mehreens versus Orks and Chaos scenario that's been in every 40k game since 2004. I hope GW realize that nobody bought Fire Warrior because it was bad, not because it didn't feature Ultrasmurfs front and center. The recent regrettable CGI film suffers from the same lack of imagination.
Seriously, people. You have one of the most expansive and crazy IPs in existence--surprise us for once. I want to see an RPG based around Inquistors or Farseers, or, hell, even a military FPS based off Gaunt's Ghosts. And if you're going to do another CGI film, at least do something interesting with it. Eldar vs. Necrons or something. The producers' lust for money seems to be drowning out the writers' imagination, which is a damn shame.
Oh well. I'm sure there's still plenty of time for a game to come out that truly explores the universe's potential, but I do wish they'd stop being so damn cautious.
