You want a game that plays similar to Monolith's original FEAR. Here it is on Steam. The game is still being updated, and I definitely have to get this later.

The demo is free on steam. I just played through it last night and its really cool. Played very well without any jank, really the most budget thing about the game is the level geometry is pretty boring.

I downloaded the demo, but I won't play until tomorrow. Level geometry sounds similar to the original FEAR's problem. Though I am sure there will be more variety with regular updates and once the game is completely developed.

Well, the original fears levels looked like what they were, they were office environments mostly. Trepang2's are... well, kinda... they try to look like offices but with less skill and some of them are just really simple levels going up, like quake 2 level of detail almost in their geometry.
