I'm sure we all know what TVtropes is. Don't act like you're the only one on this site who visits, we all have wasted 5% of our lifespan browsing on that site.

ITT we link or describe which tropes apply to us. Me, I would say I genre savvy [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GenreSavvy] (who isn't) and The Stoic [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheStoic] among my friends. I'll post more if I can think of any.

I guess I'm also somewhat of a Covert Pervert [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CovertPervert], I am a master at sneaking peeks.

Remember, this isn't a bragging thread. Cue the Magnificent Bastard and Genuis tropes.

Think of it as a Media Encyclopedia, describing anything that is involved with books, tv, games etc. Once you read at least 50 articles, you'll start to get what the site is about.

Ah, then I will look it up...eventually.

My mates generally associate me with Light Yagami. (When one started reading Death Note, he basically said, the main character is you).

So i guess I'm the Chess Master. And a bit of a dick too...

Non-Action Guy, and Someday This Will Come In Handy (hint: I wrote that mention of Academic Bowl, originally).

I dono, but a lot of people on the escapist spell their name with a "The" [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SpellMyNameWithAThe]

I guess a cop out would be to say that I'm the only sane man [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OnlySaneMan]

I love TvTropes - I work in personal security if that helps explain my choice of tropes.

I am The Lancer in our Five Man Band the Deadpan Snarker of the group with a habit of Sarcastic Clapping.

The Only Sane Man who's Surrounded by Idiots

I'm (Properly?) Paranoid and often Crazy Prepared

It might have been accurate to describe me as a Blood Knight several years ago I'm closer to a Jerk With a Heart of Gold now or a Heroic Sociopath depending on who you ask definitely operate under Black and Gray Morality.

When I'm forced into a fight I'm a Combat Pragmatist who uses a Schrodinger Fu version of Good Old Fisticuffs and was Taught by Experience

Oooh, this is interesting. I always wanted to categorize myself.

A bit of the butt monkey, irl [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ButtMonkey], and the the half breed [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HalfBreed].

EDIT: I really had no idea about this site until you posted it...and now I've wasted almost half an hour just browsing...Lord.

Gods, where do I begin...?

I'm not even going to look through the site itself. That'll take hours. You can deduce from what I say here and determine what you like from it, but I warn you that your mileage may vary [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/YourMileageMayVary].

What am I? I am funny and witty, to be sure. I say many things that are highly ironical and satirical to say the least. I am also a cynic and find my cynicism to have much basis in reality. All the world IS a stage and I am playing it like Chico Marx.

I am the Villain. Which one? Not sure. I do love a nice evil scheme as much as the next, but I also love it when I act suddenly on lucky opportunity (and I get that so very often) as well. You can hear me cackling, shouting "SCIENCE!", and definitely enjoying it when I see pain inflicted on someone I don't like, especially when I'm the one administering it.

I am a wise one, to be sure. A wiseguy, but also quite clever, if I do say so myself (and I do). There is some arrogance, an ego to be sure. That is to be expected. I speak with some fervor and verbal power. My words have both uplifted or stung deeply, dependent upon the mood required.

Strangely, I am open-minded...but also opinionated. In order for me to accept that other people can be right about stuff or have a valid argument, you have to see my own notions in that same light or what good are you? There's a balance here and it must be maintained. No serious remark should be unjustifiable. Only the funny ones should not matter, though funny remarks with ALSO a good point... Those, I love.

Well, there you have it. I did not do the research [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DidNotDoTheResearch] at the TvTrope site, but I did get a laugh out of ironically spoofing myself. Because if you can't laugh at yourself, who CAN you laugh at?

At the risk bragging, I've achieved a degree of memetic badass status among some people in the school, largely because of an incident that ended in the cross country team supposedly liking me. I won't describe it further in a token attempt to retain modesty.

Also, (wrong) genre savvy, mighty glacier (I can't run very fast, and I hope that's because I don't need to), deadpan snarker (though not very deadpan), slasher smile (I look very creepy when smiling with my teeth showing), and large ham.

Hmm, let's see:

Brilliant But Lazy [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BrilliantButLazy] (well, hardly brilliant, but I certainly believe I could achieve much more if I put in the effort)
Chaotic Good [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ChaoticGood]
Deadpan Snarker [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DeadpanSnarker]
Genre Savvy [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GenreSavvy]
Knight In Sour Armor [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/KnightInSourArmor] (This tropes sums up quite a lot of my worldview, cynical yet optimistic, etc)
Proud To Be A Geek [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ProudToBeAGeek]
Ridiculous Procrastinator [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RidiculousProcrastinator]
The Combat Pragmatist [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheCombatPragmatist] (Not that I really get into fights, I prefer diplomacy, but if it came down to a real fight I wouldn't hesitate to do what it took to win.)
The Quiet One [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheQuietOne]

There are probably more, I'll have a look and update this post later if I find any.

Yay, tropers! I'm so thrilled.

I could give you classifications for any tabletop character I've ever played, but I've never actually thought of how I'd shove myself in there...

I was expecting more people to say they're Brilliant but Lazy [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BrilliantButLazy]. I would consider my self that, in a very humble way of course. I would probably refuse the call if I got one. I have been called a So called Coward [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheSoCalledCoward] because of my Dismotivation [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Dismotivation]
