Trying to Find a Manga...

That I read when I was young, several years ago. I'm having a lot of trouble because I remember very little about it--I'll know it when I see it, I'm sure, but I can't remember the title or names of any characters.

What I know is this: what I believe is the main character was some kind of rock star, who was a supernatural being--I don't remember if he was a werewolf but I know there were werewolves in the manga, and vampires, I think? Main character would sleep in a morgue, and he was rivals with some other character because of some woman who died centuries ago (fairly cliche plot, as far as I can tell). I think the art style was fairly unique? I don't know if I'd still like it as an adult, I'd just like to remember what it is/rediscover it. I picked it up in a local bookstore, in English.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about or can direct me to where I can find it that would be great!

I tried some google searches but nothing came up. You could go to myanimelist's forums. They have a thread deticated solely to heling people find manga via pictures or discribtions. You'll have to make an acount though. Other than that I'll keep looking, have nothing better to do anyway... and it sounds interesting.

I'm pretty good at manga. Please tell me as much about how the manga was published as you can -- how thick and how large the book was, the pblisher if you can remember it, what year you read it, if it was read right-to-left...

Well, uh... I'll tell you what I can. I think it was right to left? I'm not entirely sure. It wasn't terribly thick iirc, but not thin either. Pretty average I guess? I don't really remember anything about the publishing, I never paid too much attention to that sort of thing. It was around... hmmm... early 2000's at the latest, I'd say. I couldn't tell you the exact date though.

That's about all I remember.

Nope. To my knowledge it wasn't based on a video game. I'm pretty sure I'd remember it if it was since I've seen the Darkstalkers characters around relatively recently.
