I did a quick google search for a legal read-online option, and this is what I came up with:

Such a pretty game that is the Child of Light. I'm especially loving the concept art watercolor look.

I can't watch the whole video. Got classes to go to, but I do hope that it will be multiplatform.

Why does the gender of the lead character matter even slightly?

That kind of question can be answered both ways and still yield the same results.

A character's gender shouldn't matter, so we're making all of our game characters male.
