True, but as far as I'm concerned, the ice cream makes it worth it, I have nuts of steel
Congrats on being a happy part of the problem :)
I also pirate, so I am actually TWO parts of the problem.

And thank you
Hmm thats redundant? Why support DRM like Steam then?

Because I buy to support the game when I think it's deserving, and I think Steam is a great of example of DRM that companies should be using instead of this Ubisoft crap.

I never register games. i hate registering in general. but i (was forced to) register assassins creed 2. i did so in the hope that it would be multiplayer. after a long install, it wouldnt connect to its own server, so i cant play the game. i figured since i hate registering so much, i would register to the escapist just to say FUCK UBISOFT. maybe one more time. FUCK UBISOFT. im surprised they are even still in business, having to employ people to answer questions of why a game wont run/save. how many other game companies do this sustainably? god knows i havent called it it's probably a automated message. as per the readme.txt from the game:

That seems needlessly heavy handed. The pirates will find a way around it anyway. Why screw over the legit users so much?
