Sorry but I don't live in the UK in fact I was never born UK.

I was born in and still living in______....can somebody remind me which country has the least Kinect sales?
Hooray for Engrish!
Ahh, I see another smart alec has sprung one of my unintentional traps.

listen here, I do enough spelling/grammar checking in my own time but right now it's my free time and I would not rather spend my time pleasing your spelling/grammatical fantasy

It's not like I'm wishing poor economic luck on anyone, but I really don't want Kinect to do well. I just don't want to see any games that I would want in the future all of a sudden require Kinect to play. I'm fine with motion control, just not FULL BODY motion control.

Am I a terrible, greedy person for hoping that Kinect fails, so that Microsoft keeps to making core games for me to buy?

Yes. It's not an unusual turn of phrases. I'm surprised you haven't heard people say it before.
that isn't a common phrase.

It's "another thing coming" as in you make a prediction expecting one thing but another thing actually happens.

your phrase would have to be "another thought coming"
They're actually both variations of the same phrase. If you're used to hearing "thing," then that's fine, but "think" isn't wrong.

A friend works in Game.

He told me that they got an allocation of 5 Kinect Units per store.

Not to mention that this is Game. Everyone pre-orders there for the points etc and usually ends up buying from Argos/Asda etc because they are cheaper. I can safely say that if GAME say they have sold out on pre-orders then I'll be able to walk in the day of release and pick it up

I wish I hadn't said anything now, most of your stuff is pretty good and I genuinely like reading it. However....

I've never heard it that way, aside from south eastern UK accents that say 'averyfink' that way, and only seen it on the internet. That 'think' it is very poor grammatically. I'm generally not bothered by poor grammar on the old nets, most of it's conversational after all, but this is a professional publication; good grammar really should be a mainstay.

If I was writing professionally\semi-pro and it came to a choice between a variation I didn't like and one that's grammatically poor I'd always go for the one that reads best. Worse in the same phrase you say 'you would' rather than 'you have' it just looks....bad.

Oh dear,

Here is one UK 360 owner who is quietly waiting for this fad to die down and go away.

Only "another thing coming". If that is the case for the other then it's defiantly less common.

After my experience with the Red Ring, I'll be damned if I ever go near another Microsoft Hardware release. But I will give Microsoft some credit: The 360 at least has a controller.

Also, as someone who does own a 360, I would find a Kinect failure to be a nice slap back in Microsoft's face for investing in a worthless venture instead of, I don't know, more exclusive IPs that give me an actual reason to use my 360 again. [footnote]Since Reach was only a rental, my PS3 has been seeing all of the attention again, relegating the 360 to the position of the less-wanted disappointment child.[/footnote] Is there no creative way to expand the 360 for the future rather than compromise performance and complexity for Wii motion control mimicry, ad captandam vulgus?

Looks like someone is bullshitting along the way.

Been to Newcastle, Metro Centre and Sunderland over the past two days. 3 Game in Newcastle (1 Gamestation), 2 in Metro (1 Gamestation) and 2 in Sunderland (1 Gamestation.)

ALL had big signs up saying 'pre-order Kinect and 100% guarantee it on release day.' I mentioned this news to a few employees to which they stated that it wasn't correct and they'll have plenty of stock for people.

Also spoke to my friend who works in the Washington Galleries Game store and he said the same thing.

So either Game is lying through their teeth and accepting pre-orders they know they can't fulfill. Or they have an odd surplus of Kinect pre-orders in Tyne + Wear. Or the whole news article is incorrect. Hmmm.

Wait what? There is a store called Game? Man, that's like calling your local grocery store Food or naming your dog Dog (That last bit actually happens afaik.) How very weird. Anyway, back on topic... uhm... I don't care.
This made me LOL. The company simply understands how stoopid the general public are.

Sorry, I keep rereading this post and I can't understand what the hell you mean by that.
^.^

I'm effectively in denial about my nationality because of the high sales.
Since Kinect is going to cost just over £141 here in Denmark... My guess its going to be here... That or Zimbabwe.
Wouldn't Kinect cost 1000 squillion zimbabwean dollars by now? Aren't people too busy committing atrocities or being the victims of them to play Kinect? Isn't Rob M a massive huge fucking bellend who needs to be shot into space? Wow, that became all political and stuff.

And like the move, it will only do good in Europe. From what I can see, the americas are not to fond of kinect.
