Ultra Street Fighter IV Halloween Costume DLC Out Next Week

World Warriors to get their trick-or-treat on.

Capcom has announced a new set of DLC skins for Ultra Street Fighter IV to celebrate Halloween.

A rather wide spectrum of costumes will be sold, as one would expect from a game with nearly four dozen characters in it and everybody needing to look different. Imagine the embarrassment of showing up for a street fight and finding out you both put on the same zombie nurse outfit. Awkward, to say the least.

There is, of course, a zombie nurse outfit, along with ghosts, mummies, demons and all manner of Halloweenery. I'm not sure if Blanka is rocking the Wolf Man or some kind of Hulk thing (perhaps even Mr. Hyde?), but it's a good look for him.

The costumes will be available for purchase either as one collection (the Complete Horror Pack) with all 45 priced at $19.99, or in themed packs of five costumes for $3.99. They will be released on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One October 27.

Its not out yet, its currently in a beta. I don't even think it has a solid release date yet.

Can you elaborate please? I'd like to understand the viewpoint. I've never seen cosmetic DLC as a problem when gameplay isn't altered in the slightest.

Even cosmetics can be predatorial. It's all about that pressure to make you buy.
