Uncharted 3 Gets Official Sub-title: Drake's Deception

But when terrible secrets of this lost city are uncovered, their journey becomes a desperate bid for survival that will force Drake to confront his deepest fears," it reads.

It also appears that Uncharted 3 will also follow the party line and offer a full 3D gaming experience. "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception fully supports high-resolution Stereoscopic 3D."

Sony also released a teaser that doesn't give much more than flavor of the game to come:


I just recently acquired my own PS3, so I haven't fully experienced the wonder that is Uncharted. With the news of the sequel, I think now is the perfect time to delve into the story that everyone in The Escapist office has been raving about for the last year or so.

I really like the Desertic setting, let's hope it won't be all run & gun. as for the 3D i'll pass, i'll still wait for holograms.

i can't wait to see the sand physics on the characters...

hahahahaha, great soap drama, but seriously, in many games you get to endure that kind of "dumbass" scripts...

now that i think about it, with some good scripting, games could really get even better than movies !

If they can top the sheer awesome of some of the action set pieces in Uncharted 2 (as sequels are want to do) they might need to sell the collectors editions with diapers.

It seems last years horde of leaks before big shows has made Sony start revealing everything via the blog. Before E3 when LittleBigPlanet 2 and Killzone 3 were revealed it was exactly the same, almost throwaway news like "Oh yeah, we're making another exclusive game..." instead of the grand reveals you'd expect for something like this.

I think "World of Deceit" sounded better, but hey, it's just a title. As long as it's just as awesome as Uncharted 2, I'm sold.
