And now for my opinion on this.

........First off that money could have gone into making cures for most of the STD's out there.
Second, Why is it that parents teach them about this stuff (NO VISUAL REPRESENTATIONS) and actually explain to them what good about it first then the bad things. If I was to talk to my kids about this I'd explain to them first that I was able along with my wife that I married then did it with that you were born, and then tell them what all could have gotten wrong. All the things that could shall we say DUI a girl or boy. Then once I've throughly explained to them this and also give a parental warning that if I hear or catch you doing anything like that that I would beat the crap outta them, and pray the wouldn't do a thing.

I have the urge to quote a certain Zero Punctuation Video that in which Yahtzee said "If you just showed them what it is and told them about it that they wouldn't care anymore. Its the curiosity that drives them to find it out on their own." For the gay joke making cruel game reviewer Thats the best advice I've ever heard from someone like him. Third thing, We already have sex ed classes. They defeat the purpose of this thing entirely. This is only like a help thing for the sex ed classes, and yes we have the kinect thats coming out soon! That could help teach them the pro's and cons of sex. We don't need a thing that in its purpose to defeat sex ed classes like that.

This does not need to exist. That money has now been wasted on stupid technoligy and knowlage that we ALREADY HAVE... its beating a dam horse to death that isn't dead and it wants to stay alive. GOD I hate things like this so much.

There's no way that people will play this. They would be better off paying game companies to put morals in the games, but that would drive me crazy, "Nevermind Shepherd, I just changed my mind, I'm worried about STDs".

If they could get people to use it, it would probably be effective though.

um...one- why cant you just use the mouse? That makes things so much more easier.
two- why isnt one made for guys so that we dont have the future MAN WHORES of tomorrow? peer pressure is a number one reason why girls have unprotected premarital sex, but another reason is the other half saying "I love you" and dont mean it. This game needs to have alot of adjustments before being released and one should DEFINATELY be made for guys.

*twitch*

For the price of this counterintuitive conservative claptrap contraption they could fill the schools with "Say NO"** sex ed DVDs, where students could have the information wash over them in a regular classroom without donning a expensive half assed mo-cap outfit and playing the bastardized, fun-nullifying anti-game.

** And observe results as stunningly successful as their "say no to drugs" 80's-09's school bulletins. [sarcasm]

WHY do they think that a few hours mandated on this gadget will instill

A) A desire to return to a game that rewards avoiding experience
B) A serious system of thought that can stand up to hormones and social interactions with friends who talk about the joy of sex

It's not like this is the first time tax payer money has been spent on something incredibly stupid, but it's definitely up there.

--EDT: Misread the initial post. Most of what I already wrote still relevant.

So if I'm wearing a full body suit while playing this game, does that mean that if I lose and have sex, will I be able to mimic the actual movements of sex at the endgame cutscene?

And what if I solicit a boy for sex, but rip his ___ off when he takes it out? Do I get a bonus for taking part in anti-sex behavior?

I can already see the statistics for how well people are doing on this game...

"Pre-teen girls: 90% choose to avoid sexual acts"

"Teen girls: 60% choose to avoid sexual acts"

"Japanese Adult Men: 0% choose to avoid sexual acts"

[sub]I kid, I kid[/sub]
lol thats good stuff. although i highly hope this game doesn't have any true effect in real life..otherwise, fox news is about to get trashed the fuck out of by angry mobs of males by the hundreds.

Which is more important:
Getting people to refuse sex.
Stop demonizing sex so people can make informed decisions on whether or not they want to.

Sorry, is that a little too one-sided of a question?

One: This will get abused.
Two: This will never work.
Three: Peer pressure is seriously overrated.
Four: You will never stop hormones.

And exactly 0% of the people will use it. No one wants to play a crappy psa game. This is a waste of the American tax payers money.

*EDIT* Haha, I just noticed the image is from Fox News.
LOCAL Fox News. Like a cherry full of stupid on top of an evil sunday.

I don't know, but if the ___ shoots out coins I will personally donate 1 million dollars to the development of this.

Dear America,

How about you teach sex education in school... a COMPLETE sexual education, including what happens to you in puberty, anatomy, and the actual process of sex instead of fear mongering teenagers into thinking that sex is wrong.

Thank you
Europe.

Dear europe,

How many unplanned pregnancies are you having, and how many people are in your continent that have an STD?

Please send the info.
America.
Dear Sexually Repressed Prudes of America*,

It would seem [http://www.advocatesforyouth.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=419&Itemid=177] that being open about sexuality is a better method of prevention of unwanted pregnancies and STD's than a slap in the face and a trip to the confession booth.

Regards,
Europe

*The phrase "Sexually Repressed Prudes of America" is in no way supposed to encompass the entire American population, but rather to point out the plain fact that American SexEd and sexual norms are on average comparable to those in early 16th century Europe**.

**Give or take 300 years***.

***Banshield complete.

Edit: Those statistics are hilarious.

I don't see the point of this, guess I've never really been big on peer pressure.
The point of this is to convince some gullible elected pair of clown shoes that syphoning tax dollars to this project will get him re-elected. I guess the sadder end... is that it might.

Then again if this catches on some guys will have a two-fold reason to thank video games for thier lack of sex.

so wait, you need to own the motion capture thingies, or you'll get them with the game?
also, it sounds kind of dull the way it's put there.
it'd be hilarious to see bossfights though xD
Oh man, boss fights.

Jonas Brothers
Justin Bieber.

bringing the ninja gaiden level of difficulty to "keeping your panties on".

AHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHH! Excuse me while i laugh at the plan falling apart.
1. Can you think of any one who wouldn't want to go get laid after playing that(because they would feel like such a dork)
2. Can you think of it working? Hell no

Maybe the could make a game with the intention of teaching girls not to be bitches/step on the spiders they see instead of screaming "EIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" and calling for a guy to do it

or crowbarred gordon freemon style also, most games contain some kind of inuendo besides it would be funny if you were asked by an ai character if they wanted it and you could choose, vital flaw, also this game was created by nerds who like nothing more than brainwash people to make more virgins like them

Interesting concept, though girls are not a huge demographic that plays games, so this is likely going to be a proper video game in name only.

This isn't the first of its kind though.
