"Warren it's on" he said "The attack goes through tonight, get several more of our people to the position and Brandon, Emily andd I will meet us there. Just make sure your contacts have the escape way for the people we are gonna bust out" he said closing the phone
Emily looked at him with a confused look "What escape way?" she asked
Sydney sat in his new office spot, his latest invasion had earned him a promotion putting him on the second floor to the top with a view over looking most of the city. Sydney's phone rang and he continued to stare out the window letting the machine pick it up.
"Sir, we're getting unconfirmed reports of a possible prison break being staged." Sydney grabbed the phone.
"Go on, private,"
"Well sir we have reason to believe that the Brood is making plans with the Hive for a full scale G.I.C. raid, and we don't know what we should do."
"Well, my first move would be starting an evacuation of the prisoners to the Maryland Head Quarters and put a quarantine in effect to keep them from chasing them without raising alert"
"We may not have enough time get them out of here before the possible attack, sir"
"Do we still have a tail on our Delta?"
"No, we lost him through some alley ways, but our barricades never saw him get by which puts him in a 5 block area."
"That's good, that's very good, connect me to Davidson if you can. I've got an idea I want him to help me with that will give us all the time we need."
"Eric, we have a problem on our hands," Sydney started. "We may have Hive & Brood team up like the one from 3 years ago, and we both know we barely recovered from that, we need to get the prisoners on route before the attack happens and I have idea to buy us some time to help us get them out before they can be liberated." Sydney's tone remained calm and slowly grew darker.
Riley smiled slightly to himself, then proceeded to push himself up of his chair. He turned his head towards the nearest Hive Member, "It's about damn time, eh?"
"Now, we don't have a rat- but they don't know that we don't have one. I'm thinking we fly the false flag. They'll believe everything in their New York headquarters is blown and they'll spend all of their time trying to find an enigma while we spend their downtime getting every prisoner out of here as covertly as possible." Sydney's tone grew back to a steady upbeat expression.
"Now, I want you to meet in the Bronx with some explosives as soon as possible, we'll divulge this plan more in person." Sydney hung up the phone went outside and hailed a taxi heading to the Bronx.
The white minivan pulled up to the curb and the door swung open as Erik wheeled out on his chair.
"Nice wheels," Sydney chuckled. Eric took his gun and pressed it against Sydney's kneecap.
"You can have a set like them too if you make another joke like that." Eric retracted his gun and put it back into his holster.
"Alright alright, lets get back down to business," Sydney started. "We know Delta is in one of these alleyways and with him is the Hive and The Brood."
"Well Jesus Christ, if we're taking both factions on we should have more than just the two of us!"
"We're not here to fight, just fly the false flag of knowledge."
"Than why did you have me bring the C-4?"
"To get their attention, if they all just start running out the door towards the G.I.C. building they're never going to notice the card." Eric finished planting the C-4 in the middle of the alleyway outside the steel door. Sydney stood on top of the roof overlooking as Eric got a safe distance away from the blast site. Eric pressed the detonator and a fireball rose into the air almost singeing Sydney's nose. He looked past the smoke as a man in a white mask stepped into the alley way, Sydney took the opportunity to drop the pink envelope down below and walked away. The hooded man took the card out of the envelope and began reading the card out loud in the doorway's remains.
"Just like this door, your cover is blown as our rat. But thanks for leading us here and to the clinic. -Sydney Oakley Shaw "
The hooded man walked back inside his building. Sydney and Eric walked two blocks away from the alley, but both of them were still able to hear the words "Who's the rat?" in the night sky.
Sydney grabbed his phone and placed a call to G.I.C. "Begin prisoner relocation, now's the best time."
James stood on the roof of a skyscraper, he looked down on the GIC base with a pair of binoculars
"So you say that GIC gonna try and distract us while they move the inmates away?" he asked
"Yea they're gonna try an do some kind of attack on you guys to freak you out and in the confusion move the cargo" said a voice behind James
"Do we know where?"
"Yea it's gonna be in the Bronxs"
James looked up from the view and turned to the man behind him. He was wearing military fatiuges and had a rifle slung over his shoulder, but was casually leaning on a wall. His name was Mickey and for two years he had been Broods inside man with GIC.
"So we gotta abmush the ambushers" James said
Mickey frowned "Thats a gross oversimplification, you have to do it, while not making it look like you had any information and after you handled that shipment I gave you guys last time I have major doubts about it. Personally, I think you should ignore this attack and focus on your plan."
"Yea sorry I lost that shipment of meds and radios you sent us" James said thinking of that botched delivery, he found it hard to belive that it had only happened a few days ago. "Looking back on the base he said "So they have tanks now?"
"Yea they just got a couple in today, but by the end of the week, they expect it to be around fifty tanks."
James whistled "Man those would put the hurt on us for sure. Mickey, how are we gonna get into this place? Its like Fort Knox."
"I think your best bet would be to sneak in as close as possible and disable the guards to get to the prision complex."
"Mickey, how would we do that? We don't have any army trucks or uniforms laying around."
"Your the idea guy James"
"Yes well......I think I just got one."
Mickey is that private that the GIC players use as the unfortunate news guy
No, don't forget he only know what Mickey knows, we overherd some sort of devious false flags plan, but did not know the details, so we still have no clue. Plus the Infected needed some kind of inside man.
He was on a private line directly with eric. Their is no way the snoop would hear of the plan unless he was in the room with one of them. That being said they should not know where hive head quarters is. Also it has been stated that they think the brood are the hive so if they are teaming up that's like saying that the Devils are playing with New Jerseys professional hockey team
'Krieg was nearly bursting with joy as he heard the news. He changed back into his Soldier ACU's and switched the name tags around so that it wouldn't blow his cover to much. He slipped into a black Baklava (the mask not the dessert), slung his Ar 15 over his shoulder and grabbed his ruck sack. He was going to add a bit of confusion into the ranks of the GIC. They would whisper rumors of Infected in the army.
lets see if the GIC get the army to quarantine now.
Yeah, I agree with Rare. We'll just let both slide for now.
But I do have a few concerns about the confrontation between Eric and James.
Mainly the combat was extremely, questionable. I fired two clips, around twenty shots, and he decided that only one landed. I was okay with that at first, but it got a bit unfair when he decided what my wounds from his attack were.
I suggest someone be appointed to oversee PvP combat, through dice or something else.
Not like it would affect me. Im impervious to physical damage . Which means you guys might want to get bit creative. After a while. You would have to realize that i am not damaged by bullets and melee before you magically find a solution.

Basiclly we can leave it to the GM, get a live account because it has a dice option, or we can run it the way we are, just you can't super character it. If you get shot you get shot, the only way around it is getting saved from an ally, or if you see the shooter and use your control power to levitate something in the way to block it.
Erik leaped into action once the announcement was made, immediately grabbing anything and everything that had iron in it, "Oh this is going to be fun!" he yells at nobody in particular as he pockets a handful of screws.
In My Defense my guy had a guess of 6 blocks as to where it might of been when the tail lost them and they didn't cross the patrol, I just didn't want to type 5 posts of incorrectly guessing which building.
