I liked the one with "sweet dragons blood, what is that?" and the action camera man skits.

This is the first game they've done that I've actually played, its not as enjoyable knowing whats coming.
Cutscenes and dialogue aside though Dark messiah is a very fun game. Much better comabt than oblivions, if only it it was an free roam RPG....
This. The game was definitely a lot of fun, though the storyline was fairly predictable. I did like the way that as the game progressed you got flashes of something that had already happened but that you "forgot".

My favourite bit was the "doesn't everyone have voices in their head?" lines... although the "can you make it hurt?" bit was a close second, especially considering some of the later cutscenes where you see what actually happened during the fadeout.

Because of this cutscene I just reinstalled this game and am having more fun with it than ever. When your into it you can really make the fights flow and I literally laughed with glee at the part when you defend the ship and I suffered no damage at all while cutting though the bads like butter.
I also love the "repeat" cutscenes where you see Phrenrigs real intentions. Also any scene with Anrantir in is awesome, espcially the onewhere you retrieve the skull of shadows, you know what I mean :0

I know this has been said a hundred-odd times, but... Isn't it a little late to do DMoM&M?

I mean, the online community is almost dead...

It has been said once, and I explained our reasons.

Short version:
We don't care.

I love that attitude... It makes all your videos all the better to be so laid back.

Can't say I expected this one, but I can't complain much either, heh.

I used to makes jokes about that "SWEET DRAGON'S BLOOD!" line all the time, I loved that you tore it apart. Though I still love that game's combat system.

Anyways, damn fine job as usual.

This... this is the game.
the game that broke me.
...i can't play this game,
oh, its not that its bad. hell it might be the game tooled for my mindset so perfectly that i go into a trance of pure bliss while playing it, for all i know. the only tiny... teensy wittle problem i run into is that, well... ITS BROKEN!!!
broke broke broke broke broke.
30+ hours of troubleshooting but noooooooooooo...
i then gave it to a friend cause, maybe, even though it said it worked with XP, it was easier to play with vista... But we couldn't even get it to start the game. (on my xp it, at first wouldnt start but after about a day of trying to fix it i got it to play part way through the very first weapon... untill it froze, it was missing some video file and no matter how many times i reinstalled it never had it >_<... and the fixes online didn't work either.

also the troubleshooting forums are ridiculously full. I'm not the only one.

/sigh
that was a 55$ wasted :(

Oh, that's where Sauron went to. If you see him again, tell him that Smeagol's been developing schezofrenic problems and that the ring's been destroyed.

And I'm sure that those 'sheeps' are necromancers, didn't you notice their curly hair and their evil laugh of Doooooooooom, mehehehe. It's so obvious.

It is sort of late to take a shot at Dark Messiah, eh? Oh, I'm just nitpicking. Great video, as always.
I don't think there's a statute of limitations on these things :)
Funny thing is, when we started we were almost always doing old games, and people gave us flack for doing old stuff. Then we did more new stuff and we got flack for that. Can't please 'em all!

Basically, we've just decided to do whatever games we want.

(Secret: Metal Gear August wasn't actually because people kept bugging us to do it---we wanted to.)
So that's why you've been doing random games. I gave it way too much thought, it seems.

On topic: Great video. Were you guys holding back from quoting Gandalf on that pit scene with the blood drop? The phrase, "Fool of a Dark Messiah!" was coursing through my mind the entire scene.

I feel obligated to point out that the game actually started with you looking for that crystal thing, but you guys skipped that stage.
Anyway good stuff guys.

"What the point of a mystical hot chick if SHE'S inside YOU?"

If you can't figure that one out, I'd suggest reading a better class of porn, guys.

How dare you people ask them why they're doing old cinematics?!

I'm still going through the 35+ DVDs of MST3K and ALL of them had just old movies...And no one complained about that, now did they?! Well ok, they did, but then they "got it" and thought it was funny that way.

So you know...what uhm...what was I talking about? Oh, right, back off!

Keep up the good work, Graham and Paul. By the way, were you guys ever on Rifftrax? Are you big enough for them to watch your show yet? I mean they had Chad Vader on there and he's been dying since episode 3.
