Brilliant humour. I think it might be my favourite one so far. Loved the Free Radical joke at the start and the fact that they all love plains a lot and never wear helmets.
Excellent
The Spartans would have ripped off these guys ***** and beaten them to death with them. Also, as good as MGS4 is, I'd love to see them do FFX-2...including the Yuna intro, they should **** all over that.
Why did only one person mentioned Babylon5 in their comments?
Well, I know it was never a great innovative show and the interest somewhat died 10 years ago and only people like me (media scholars that is) watch this for historical purposes, but come on!
The name of the place - Babylon 5!
Those dates from those 5 seasons are inseparable with the series.
Usually I was watching the series while ironing and doing other stuff like reading for example (I don't consider any tv series worthy of my undivided attention... unless it's bold & beautiful) but even so, the opening lines have inprinted themselves in my mind.
Graham Stark- "I know it's because they're high all the time, but in stark contrast to something like Halo
or Gears of War, these marines are actually kind of fun."
Paul Saunders- "They are a little overly excited about airplanes though."
Paul Saunders- "Did you just order breakfast in the middle of this cutscene?"
Graham Stark- "I'm hungry."
Paul Saunders- "Are you not high young man? What have we taught you?"
Graham Stark- "Why are you looking out the window?... you're being shot at."
Dropping the Sergeant off in the war-zone by himself?
I would expect this kind of action more if the solder was a corporal or a private.
This is quite an unsubtle attempt to kill off the soldier not taking his meds.
I would actually feel glad to be dropped off into a warzone alone, when compared to a plane full of drugged thugs. I´d rather take my chances with the hail of bullets, thank you.
Oh, and that B5 reference cracked me up, since I´m currently watching the series (again). Nice one. Boosh!
