About the Power Laceing not being present, on the FAQ for the ebay page it said this
"No. For the power-lace feature you will have to wait until 2015."
Does this mean they are gonna do it all over again? or just Nike bullshitting?

It's a great idea and an amazing cause, but the selfish part of my brain is a bit disgruntled that I won't get a pair

Why do people say that it's four years earlier than expected that they made these? The movie doesn't say that the shoes were made in 2015. It only shows that they're available in 2015. They could have been made years before in the movie's timeline. It's only 2015 due to the event that he has to prevent happening then.

I'm sorry, but that design is horrible.
I would never buy that thing, especially since it isn't self-lacing

I'm proud of the charity donations they're doing and it's very noble but the shoes themselves are kind of stupid.
They don't recommend using them as shoes, and they don't do anything the shoes did in the movies, so what the fuck is the point?

You must be American in order to enjoy movie memorabilia and donate to worthy causes.

If anywhere else, you are unworthy to even be in the presence of these shoes.

Neat. Now if Mattel would finally get around to making real hoverboards, then I'd be interested.

(Seriously, 2015 is only a few years away! Get moving already!)

I saw a picture of those on Ebay and didn't know what they were from, I laughed at how ugly they are.

Now all we need are for Jaws 5-18 to come out within the next 3 years.

I've always loved the shoes, I think they're a fine looking pair of shoes.

Now, to find me some dollar...

The shoes in the video 'Marty's closet' don't quite look like the ones from the movie at the bottom. Kinda dissapointing, not to mention they don't self-lace, so there's no big appeal to them. Atleast not to me.
