I wouldn't mind if they make this FF15 by porting it to the Luminous Studios engine. If it looks 80% as good as Agnis Philosophy on the PS4, I would gladly wait.

Agreed, since FF XIII vs is the "closest" to a Final Fantasy game we had in years and seems more dark and serious, not mainstreamed like that colorful overacted over dramatic bag of crap that was FF XIII and FF XII-2?

It's funny how you here all these people here complain about the grayness of mainstream gaming and the lack of colour. But when it comes to Final Fantasy fans; we want broody! I actually started playing FF thanks to the colour and FF13 was my first proper FF game. Quite liked it really. Liking 13-2 a whole damn more though.

But this project, when I learned about it, looked pretty damn exciting as well. Except for the extreme grayness that is. So I hope it's just a change in name if it happens to become FF15.

Thank friggin' God. Between this and Metal Gear Solid 4, this was one of the main reasons I was eager to get my Playstation.

Now if it can only stay not cancelled. And actually get released. In good quality.

I honestly dont know what to believe at this point but if it is axed i'll be beyond bummed out. Yet according to ign(not completely trustworthy either i know) Yoichi Wada said in a tweet that it's just a rumor and all that.

Update: Square Enix president Yoichi Wada has denied the rumor via Twitter [https://twitter.com/yoichiw/statuses/227628674780909568], claiming that he had just been in a meeting with the game's development team, and that the cityscape they presented would "knock you off your feet."

I was more impressed by FF12's visuals than by FF13 or FF14.

I really don't grasp this direction they are going. The absolute most expensive variable in gaming is their priority...so strange.

Atlus is really killing these guys.

Yoichi Wada stated himself on Titter that the game is still in development.

Only in the gaming industry could a tweet from a project's CEO that it is indeed in development be taken as evidence that the project has actually been cancelled.

I didn't post the article to show i think it is cancelled, in fact complete opposite. You should be able to tell by my avatar i want this game to be released so badly.

Huge relief.

I always love a Nomura game, and I'd hate to see 5 years of his work go out the window or be hijacked by the people responsible for Final Fantasies XIII, XIII-2, and XIII-3 (ugh, that serial comma sequence was difficult to type, psychologically).
