It doesn't spell 'Half Life 2: Episode 3' or 'Gordon Freeman', so it doesn't matter. This whole thing about delaying Ep 3 is just starting to really piss me off. Gamers don't want sequels to games that don't need sequels like Left 4 Dead, Portal and the such, we want games we were promised years ago.

In what world does this make any sense?

The more I hear people ***** and whine and complain about no Episode 3 the less I want it to actually come out and thus the more I revel in the despair of others when Valve announces another project that's actually interesting (seriously, this is) and yet people will vehemently refuse to enjoy it because it's not Episode 3

Of course then they go out and buy it anyway because they have the average willpower of a cigarette addict.

It's not confirmed, but since Gabe isn't exactly the PS3's number one fan, and neither left 4 dead was ever released for the PS3, it's not looking good.

2 player co-op sounds nice. I hope this doesn't mean only co-op play. I like playing single player more than co-op sometimes. Still I'm glad that it's coming to the 360.

the last like 2 games, plus the orange box (5 games) were on consoles, why would they just decide not to do it on consoles?

Oh, I'll enjoy Portal 2 as long as it is just as brilliant as Portal 1. But Valve have said Ep 3 won't be coming out this year, but they're producing games that don't practically need a sequel. Hell, without the update that Valve did this week, no one would have given a proper sequel to Portal. Portal 2 was just extra hard maps.

The idea of the episodic games was so they could get games out quicker, but so far they've been slower than snails and too busy making pointless sequels for perfectly good games. It doesn't make any logical sense to me. There is a game out there that should be made, but isn't... There are games out there that don't need to be made, but they have been.

Who plays VALVe games on anything but PC, thats like toasting your bread in the microwave, it's kinda the same, but quite disappointing in comparison.
