The journalists don't have a source for the quote. They have the evidence that it took two missiles to sink the ship, and they made up the rest for headlines. When journalists have sources...
That seems to happen on this website sometimes, I think it's a glitch with the way it saves drafts of posts in progress or previews. It's happened to multiple people here before, and I suspect it will again, but I apologize for any inconvenience you have been caused.Uh, dude, I dunno how you did it, but you quoted me using @tippy2k2’s post.
No inconvenience, merely confusion. That seems to happen on this website sometimes, I think it's a glitch with the way it saves drafts of posts in progress or previews. I have no doubt that journalists tend to twist the truth in a way to favor engagement more than informing the audience. Since the article in question is behind a paywall I cannot verify what it says. I am however curious about the previous reporting on Trump you talk of. Could you share the sources? The journalists don't have a source for the quote. Like the time they implemented a change in meat processing regulations that allowed companies to hire additional inspectors at one specific spot in processing, and after 20 successful years of pilot program, found the safety standards were properly upheld, and the bill to finalize the change fell to Trump, and the news reported it as Trump telling the pork industry to regulate itself.
Like the time the Trump administration drafted an executive order that they would treat being Jewish as a protected class, and the press got it and leaked as Trump saying Jewish people aren't American.
Every case is twisted into the headline that gets you to freak out most effectively.
Why make it that complicated? He probably just bribed Trump.Trump: "We're blowing up these boats off the shore of Venezuela because they're bringing drugs, trust me bro, drugs are poisoning this country and anyone who deals in them should die."
Also Trump: "I'm pardoning the former president of Honduras who was convicted of drug trafficking."

Trump to pardon former Honduran president sentenced to prison for drug trafficking
President Trump is set to pardon a former Honduran president who had been sentenced to prison for drug trafficking, he announced on social media Friday. “I will be granting a Full and Complete Pard…thehill.com
There's only one angle that I can see: Hernandez was convicted under the Biden administration, and Trump's ego needs to destroy anything good that his rivals did.
I don't think it's that. Tstorm doesn't need to believe it; he's just desperate to get us to believe it, so that we don't do anything until the Trump administration reaches the point he's hoping for: Using the power of the government to force the rest of us to live how Tstorm wants us to, under penalty of death.Yes, that's exactly Tstorm's credibility filter.
If it's Trump and team with their huge and demonstrable track records of dishonesty and fraud, assume their rectitude. Everyone else is assumed to be a liar.
Yes because like 10 regulars on a random forum where like half of them aren't even in the US need to held at bay so that the current president can do what he wants. Stopping these like 5 people from acting is the lynchpin to Trump's plan. What the fuck are you going on about? That's a dumber idea than the earth being flat.I don't think it's that. Here is some on the pork industry change. I don't know the headline "Trump Tells Pork Industry to Regulate Itself" still exists, but I do remember explicitly that phrasing at the time. I might look harder for it later on this evening. Keep in mind, the change should not be described as self-regulation in any capacity. The US changing regulations so they can self-inspect on a single step in the middle of the process is still government doing the regulating. Pork people didn't write the law, they were actually the last meat industry to benefit.I have no doubt that journalists tend to twist the truth in a way to favor engagement more than informing the audience. I'd have said we'll see soon enough but I forget Democrats have the spines of fucking JellyfishThe journalists don't have a source for the quote. They have the evidence that it took two missiles to sink the ship, and they made up the rest for headlines.

He's abjectly lying, of course, but his gaggle of idiots will convince themselves that everything they buy isn't getting more expensive."They have a race going on right now in Tennessee, and this woman goes, 'Affordability, affordability.' They’re the ones who caused the problem,” Trump said. "The prices were way high. We’re bringing the prices down."
The secret is calling it a special military operation that will definitely just last three days.Hey, remember how Trump was going to keep us from getting embroiled in foreign wars?

I guess it's not technically a war if you just start bombing, or something?
I not totally sure I agree with Sabrina Carpenter. I think she has got a song which could describe Trump and numerous members of his administration.I believe this is known in The Biz as a "Ratio"
Will it go to the guy who's been blowing up boats off the shore of Venezuela, and then double-tapping the survivors?Oh my, can't believe I missed this one
