I'm going to get my girlfriend- No bad, Avich, bad! No lieing on the internet!

I have no girlfriend, so for Valentine's Day I'll be shouting obscenities on my roof about how Valentine's is so commercial and spend the night bitter and alone with a Will Smith movie.
I hear you mate. In the likely event that my plans don't go as planned (see my previous post), I'll sit in my flat with lots of chocolate and the Baz Luhrman version of Romeo + Juliet (you know, the modern version). Kind of a reverse of the stereotype of a girl's night in, actually, given I'm a guy...
Maybe we can go run around a park together and find couples in some secret place and then we'll yell at them and scare the doodie out of the poor people.

Made use of the upside down internet theory to display nothing but valentines day hearts instead of images.

This year I'm taking her for a drive over to another state and then giving her everything I can to make her smile.

WOO! GO ENGLAND! ;) Yes, I'm English, and a rugby fan. Don't be so surprised, although you probably hated me as soon as I said 'England'.
Gah, strangly enough unlike most Welsh I like the English!

She loves GH and Rock Band.

I bought her a pink wireless guitar for Valentine's Day and I also play to put a hang a nice piece of jewelry on the tremolo bar.
If my boyf did that I'd be a VERY happy girl!
That's an awesome gift....you rock :)

im getting my girlfriend a ticket (and myself ofc) to go see Twillight because she wants to see it soooo much... im just meeh... about it :p
Congratulations on being a man and submitting yourself to the horribly retarded acting and storyline that shit is.

But really, if i had a girlfriend for valentine's day, i'd probably do something idiotic like build a huge heart outa lego, go on some retardedly hard quest in an MMO to get her some weapon or something ('I spent twelve hours with a bunch of jerks for a sword you wont be able to use for a good, 72 levels...' "Aww, you're so sweet")... Or do something of the like.

Be mundane, but unique... Don't think many people go out, buy their loved one a copy of an MMO and go about crafting them something special just to say 'I love you'

She knows what she's getting already, I'm sure. Well, at least one thing I'm getting her.

Back when we were in 9th grade, I asked her out the weekend before Valentines day. I was talking to her the night before, asking if she wanted something, and she made it very clear that we hadn't even seen each other once since we started dating, so nothing was necessary. However, I woke up around midnight panicking that I hadn't gotten her anything (She was my first real relationship...unless you count a kiss during a birthday party in fourth grade :p), so I got my shoes on and walked two hours to walmart. I bought a simple heart with Skittles candy inside, because I knew that was her favorite candy (we'd been friends for a while). When I gave it to her, I didn't tell her what lengths I went to get it (got no sleep that night), I just gave it to her in the morning. She loved it, but it really began to mean something when she wheedled out of me the details.

Now, every year, I make it a goal to give her a skittles heart...though they stopped making them a year ago. I had to ask for a custom special order to acquire one. But I got it never the less. I'm also giving her the plane tickets I bought us for spring Break to go to Newport Beach in California to stay at my aunts summer beach house. Tomorrow ends the fifth year we've been dating.

Love is silly.

I'll probably just send my girlfriend a text message reading "Happy Valentine's Day" and hope she replies later. Not much more I can do.

Necklace with her name on it, another one of my crappy poems, and homemade dinner by me all love styled. Still figuring out on exactly what I should make.
2 pieces of fresh salmon, 6oz each
3 Tablespoons of honey
2 Tablespoons of Chopped basil
Salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (sorry, dunno what that is in C)
Slather honey all over the flesh side of the salmon (not the skin side)
season with salt and pepper
add chopped basil to the pink side of the salmon, make sure it's spread evenly.

Put a little cooking oil in the bottom of a (preferably glass) pan so it coats it. Place the fish inside skin side down and cook for 15 min (or until you like how it's cooked)

Put on a plate, make with a side of spinach salad (raw spinach with oil and vinnegar dressing)

Eat and enjoy, and watch how fast she wants to get naked. This is the easiest and best dish to make for a romantic dinner. Nothing that makes your breath bad, and it's all good for you, and tastes like awesomeness.

Yeah... I'm a chick. You could test out this method on me. Oh, and throw in L4D, too.

Fuck yeah! For last christmas my boyfriend got me CoD5 so we could play it together on co-op. Could work for Valentine's day as well.
Someone else mentionned a mod, that's an awesome idea. It's got that "I made it myself" feel AND it's useful.
