Gentlemen, you have quite a treasure there in that horadric cube.

I knew they were going to do something with all the extra weapons, but I never saw this coming. Pretty damned neat, eventually all the duplicates are going to turn into D2 style random drops once people get the hang of crafting and making slews of different guns. At least that's what I'm hoping happens.

Why does Valve hate America?

Interesting path to take. Considering the size of the playerbase I'm sure it won't be long before most every blueprint is discovered and posted on GameFAQs or somethin'.
Is that such a bad thing though? I think I'd rather know what I'm making than end up with something even more useless than what I started with.
Like that time I put three level 15 rings in and got a level 2 amulet... yea, I learned that one the hard way. Oh wait, I'm still thinking Diablo 2.

I Demand that my Soldiers rockets get a Jarate splash which puts out flame and adds mini crits.

Also, I wouldn't say no to a Sticky Bomb Minigun "SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!! BWUAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!"*Right click* "You have lost connection to the server."

I haven't played TF2 in a while(well, since the spy update actually) but I have never seen that third weapon in the crafting area before.

I just deleted all my duplicate crap...

Anyway, I've got pretty much all the weapons I need, so I'm looking forward to make some nice hats.

The backburner is useless, it doesn't have the compressed air blast. That is vital to survival against soldiers, demomans and UBERs.

Hmm, I have a buncha duplicates, triplicates and evey quadruplicats, so I might just craft myself a nice hat or the Kritskrieg...

The Service Medal was something of a secret item; only 11,111 people have them. I doubt they'll be avaliable through crafting

Very nice,

It's really nice to episode-3 see Valve's commitment to it's episode-3 games. They keep improving episode-3 and building on episode-3 the great games they already <episode-3 made.

I can't wait to see the new episode-3 weapons for the solider episode-3 and the demoman. This dedication by Valve episode-3 is what made me wonder at the episode-3 ban on L4D2. I think valve episode-3 has earned our trust by now.

But I can't help but wonder episode-3 what are there episode 3 plans FOR THE FUCKING HALF-LIFE SERIES! WHERE THE FUCK IS EPISODE 3?! ARE THEY EVEN WORKING ON IT ANYMORE? JESUS!

Hmmm... I hope this doesn't screw up the gameplay too much...

Like CSS' RPG mod

Where you come in as a lv 1 player and get your ass handed to you over and over by lv 345^32.343 players without any social contact whatsoever.

It's occurred to me that they didn't specifically say that the weapons would have different stats from one-another if they were crafted. If anything this is a way for people to build things they really want out of their duplicate items rather than ***** and moan endlessly about not having them, then ***** even more when they cheat to get them and have them taken away soon afterwards (i.e. hats).

If they do go with different stats then I see it possibly becoming a problem but until I see what the system entails for myself I'm reserving judgment.

Well that and Valve is already wise to the reactions they're going to get, judging by the comments about their forums on that page (hilarious to read even), so it's not like we'd be saying anything new.

Oh goody. Because when I'm playing a shooter, I always secretly wonder how well my character can fucking knit...
I'm pretty sure all construction in the TF2 universe is related to the art of percussive maintenance. No knitting required.
