You see, this is from a historical/scientific viewpoint, which I can respect. However, I cling to the mythos that werewolves are supernatural beings, and thus are at least in part unexplainable by common logic. I'm not getting into a debate here, and as werewolves don't currently exist as I know I'm not going to say that either of us are wrong. However, historical and scientific accuracy aside, I believe in my version.

Secondly, that other metal is not steel. The mineral, like the monster itself, doesn't actually exist. If it did, its rarity would make it quite a bit more precious than silver. Might be a bit cheaper than the plain silver approach, but I find a certain charm in it.

Twilight ruined both there reputations, can't choose...
Wouldn't be able to go out without people laughing at me, or making fun me of ):
Also depends on what kind of vampire,
I be wolf for many reasons
1. Can go out during day
2. I wouldn't drink humans blood, i drink animals, so unless it really tasted good I wouldn't enjoy it, blood makes me woozy.
3. Can I bite a kid I hate, while looking like a dog and run away, and go back in human form, so i don't get in trouble.

Depends on the vampire. I'm fairly sure a vampire following the Vampire:the Masquerade archetype could tear that werewolf's head off, whereas a Dracula vampire could simply charm him into jumping off Big Ben.
Werewolves shred VtM vampires.

On topic: Vampire the Masquerade vampires or neither.
Depends on the vampire. A Nosferatu or Malkie (a real Malkie, not some goth kid who got lost on the way to a Brujah gathering) could tango with a werewolf, while a Ventrue will simply make the wolf Public Enemy No. 1. Toreador, though? Yeah, that guy's mincemeat.

well i don't agree with these mythos which claim that the mythical creatures are only vunrable to certain weapons. these where never preresiquits to kill the creature, but rather in most all myths was the fastest way to do so. it is only in more modern basterdizations of the previous myths did they replace 'most vunrable' to 'only supceptable'.

you get a big enough gun or fire enough bullets into something it gets dead right quick.

it is kinda why i more enjoyed 'the masqurade' story arc than other more modern renditions of vampires. it doesn't matter what mythical creature you are. if you get a face full of buckshot it makes you just as dead as a wooden stake through the heart

Let me just say that this is not a Twilight thread.
So, what creature would you rather be, a vampire or a werewolf? And when I say werewolf I mean a wolf man, not just a wolf. I would be a werewolf because:
1.I only need to change once a month
2.My only weakness is a silver bullet
3.The ladies love hair covered men
funny how you could put women and once a month in the same paragraph. Aah. I'm just kidding.

I like animals, but i wouldn't really want to be one. I'll keep that to my drawing 'Creativity.' (Avatar.)

As for vampire, wasn't the basic definition of vamparism 'A man who rises from the dead to fornicate with his wife?' - I'm not married, so niether.

What's the ruling on a Werewolf's lifespan? I mean Vampires have immortality, which is one thing I would do almost anything for.

Yeah, well, when I say werewolf, I mean big monstrous wolf-creature on four legs with claws and teeth and you're bigger than most people by half, if not bigger. I'm talking greater strength, greater senses, greater speed, greater agility, bullets mean nothing, and...can you tell I'm a bit excited about the upcoming movie? I choose werewolf.

From my research on the mythos, quite a long time, although not immortal. I'm not sure about exact lifespan, though.

OT: Although a disagree mostly with your [the OP's] descriptions of a werewolf, I still have to go with werewolves. Who wouldn't want to be an engine of wanton destruction (assuming you go by that mythos? =D
