Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women.

It's a good game, but you need friends to play it with.

That sort of thing seems to happen when there's a ratling gunner vaguely in the vicinity, they have a habit of taking cover to the exclusion of all else or hanging around trying to kill it when it's behind you and can easily be avoided by just moving forward in the level.

I know it's usually a three-panel comic, but does the divide between the first and second panel feel strange to anyone else? It's like they cut a full piece of art in two to fit into a newspaper's guidelines.

Anyways, beautiful game, Vermintide. It's a shame it's going to be almost completely overlooked. Released with more press, or at a better time of year, and it might prove that people actually like the Old World setting and encourage GW to keep producing work set there.

I don't read a lot of western comic books, but I do know that manga/manhwa tend to do that a lot, where single shots will be split up into 2, 3 or even 4 ever-expanding panels. It's my understanding that it's supposed to mimic a camera pan.

I kinda expected a tiny Erin on its shoulder.
... now I can't help but feel like Cody missed a huge opportunity....

Um, who's head is that in the rat monster's hand? Erin's?
It is Sun's head by right of conquest. If you're asking which corpse he took it from, no idea.

Seems to be the head of Victor Saltzpyre, the witch hunter, judging by the bodies on the ground.

Rats are almost always evil in fantasy aren't they? Spreading plagues and having those skulls mounted on spikes on your back (Is there a term for that?)

Rufus approves...

Other than that, their insides must taste like meaty cheese or something... :p

I don't get it. Are there humanoid rodent people in the Warhammer universe or something? I don't recall those ever being mentioned in the 40K stuff, and I know jack about anything else Warhammer, and I barely know anything about 40K.

I literally only got this strip because I watched Jim Sterling play the game.

Well, I suppose I would have got the hoke about assuming rats dream of cheese paralleled to dreams of glorious victory, but otherwise.

It makes sense. Ratist propaganda is common in the world of primate supremacists. It is about time a champion rose up to show them the errors of their ways.

Lol, show them the error of their propoganda about rats spread death and destruction...by killing them all? xD Somehow me thinks this will not give them a different opinion about rodents in general.

"How dare you accuse my people of spreading death and disease!!?? I will kill you all and mount your heads on pikes for spreading such slander! SQUEEK!!"
