Wagner Meets Videogames Meets Arena Rock

July 14th marks the next stop of the Video Games Live concert tour. The Houston show will combine music from videogames, performed by seventy-two musicians, sixty-member choir, as well as soloists.

Not to nitpick (okay, I'm nitpicking), but you might want to say something like "seventy-two piece orchestra" instead of "seventy-two musicians," since the choir members and soloists are also considered to be musicians. :)

I've had a pretty shaky history with Video Games Live (the Phoenix show was cancelled twice) but I'm still holding out on these guys. 'Specially since they dropped Clear Channel, who was apparently the source of those two cancellations.

That said, if PLAY! [http://www.play-symphony.com/] comes to town first I wouldn't say no.
