Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide Patches in New Hardcore Additions

The newest patch for Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide adds new hardcore achievements, a hidden trial, and more.

If you've been looking for a reason to return to Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, it's here: there's a new patch that adds all sorts of things to find. Titled "Arrogance Lost," Update 1.9 adds new achievements to the game that developer Fatshark calls [http://steamcommunity.com/games/235540/announcements/detail/1424677354985918389] "super-hard."

The new update also includes updates to weaponry and traits, including a rebalancing and a second tier of traits on all red weapons. There are also new hero skins being offered for sale at $2 each. You can see them in the video below.

Finally, there is also a new, hidden area named "Trial of the Foolhardy." To access it, you have to complete the Wizard's Tower level on Hard difficulty or higher, and then follow the steps that are laid out in this community post [http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=973128579]. Once you've found it, you have to complete it successfully for your game to remember that you found it. Alternatively, you can have a friend with the area unlocked invite you in.

You can find the full patch notes for this update over in this post on the Steam Community [http://steamcommunity.com/games/235540/announcements/detail/1424677354985918389]

Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide is currently on sale on Steam [http://store.steampowered.com/app/235540/Warhammer_End_Times__Vermintide/] for 67 percent off, bringing it down to $9.89, with the Collector's Edition coming in at $14.84.

Also in other Warhammer news, The Dark Elves faction trailer for Total War: Warhammer 2 is out now:

But on topic, eh I was kinda let down by this DLC because I was kinda hoping for a new map pack or even better one that includes a new playable hero or a new Skaven enemy, especially a Hellpit Abomination:
