Warhammer Online: how is it now?

Why hello there fellow Escapees, I have a little question for the WAR players over here.

WoW's constant PvE is getting to me again, and my old WAR Black Orc is starting to look very alluring. However, I have a few concerns before I think about re-subbing on WAR again, mainly the reasons why I didn't re-sub after the first month in the first place.

1: How's the balance between Chaos and Order nowadays?
2: Did they do anything about the horribly dull keep sieges? I remember that all it was was knocking on a big door until it fell down. Not very exciting, especially because the defenders often suffered from a massive case of the fuck-it's. Properly defending was awfully cool though.
3: How is Tier 3 PvP? I remember the only Scenario popping up was that lava map, Tor Anoc. Sure, as a Black Orc I could keep punting stunties in the lava, but still y'know.
4: Did they do anything about the empty Public Quests? I remember being in the Orcish T3 area and having like 5 PQ's open with no-one in them. Very very grindish.
5: How's open-world RvR nowadays anyway?
6: Are there are any big changes I should now about?

Can't you play from 1 to level 10 for free? I guess you want to know more about the endgame, since you played it before.

Yeah you can, it's a pretty cool trial mechanic. Coincidently I found the 1-10 Scenario's the most fun ones out there.

It came out ages ago. I played the first month and it was great at first, but the content became rather dull later on. Hence why most questions are related to that.

As for LotRO, it captures the feeling of the LotR universe fantastically, but as I said WoW's PvE starts to irk me a bit. If anything, LotRO is exactly that, very PvE focussed.

I just started playing this month on Iron Rock, but I'll do my best here. I'm currently playing in tier 3.

1: How's the balance between Chaos and Order nowadays?
Back and forth, right now Order is a little more dominant on IR but it's balanced most of the time.
2: Did they do anything about the horribly dull keep sieges? I remember that all it was was knocking on a big door until it fell down. Not very exciting, especially because the defenders often suffered from a massive case of the fuck-it's. Properly defending was awfully cool though.
Keep sieges, at least in tier 2 and 3, always draw at least attempted defenses. I've rarely taken a keep where no destro showed up. T4 has lots of action tho.
3: How is Tier 3 PvP? I remember the only Scenario popping up was that lava map, Tor Anoc. Sure, as a Black Orc I could keep punting stunties in the lava, but still y'know.
Lame, best bet is to level right past it with Land of the Dead. I've gotten less than 10 scenarios all week I've spent in t3.
4: Did they do anything about the empty Public Quests? I remember being in the Orcish T3 area and having like 5 PQ's open with no-one in them. Very very grindish.
Yea... t3 is dead.
5: How's open-world RvR nowadays anyway?
Tons of fun, best pvp I've ever played in an MMOG.
6: Are there are any big changes I should now about?
Wouldn't know if there was, like I said only been playing a few weeks.

Hope this helps! In general, I am having alot of fun with the game, at least until the Old Republic comes out.
