I would have agreed with you at some point in my life, but Cryptopsy and other bands have made up for a lot of bad music. Seriously, there's something in the water in Canada that makes metal drummers go crazy...MCerberus said:I think Canada exiles its terrible musicians here in revenge for Americans thinking Canada is "America's Hat"
Ah, but you see, Watchdogs is popular. Therefore it is overrated AAA shlock and everyone who bought it is an idiot. If they thought they enjoyed it, they were wrong.Andrew Siribohdi said:I thought people generally liked Watch_Dogs.
They must not have the agricultural runoff and occasional massive chemical spill that makes the water supply so great in MURICA, drives them insane due to lack of FREEDOM.DrunkOnEstus said:I would have agreed with you at some point in my life, but Cryptopsy and other bands have made up for a lot of bad music. And this is why Erin Stout is my hero.canadamus_prime said:Attending Nickleback concerts seems like a legit reason to murder someone to me.

Something we tend to ignore in our heroes. Hell, I've seen Greg House defined as "Chaotic Good" so many times I sort of want to burn all the D&D books.wAriot said:Seriously though, he's a real psychopath, even if you try to be a "good guy", most missions involve being a complete asshole.
I hear Nickelback got their name because if you paid with a dime, you got a nickel back.Neronium said:Then again, Nickleback concerts are probably dirt cheap.
When was their first single?marioandsonic said:When did Nickleback become such a big punching bag for the Internet?
It might also be a play on the fact that the data is supposedly strung together randomly.Kenjitsuka said:I think that is just the "intro" of the joke.
Well, it is generally well-liked/reviewed, especially on the current-gen consoles, but there are serious problems with the PC release. PC gamers with AMD/Radeon graphics cards are woefully disadvantaged when playing Watch_Dogs.wAriot said:Seriously? Where have you been this past two weeks? It has been getting a lot of criticism, specially the PC version.Andrew Siribohdi said:I thought people generally liked Watch_Dogs.
wow you can basically just replace "watchdogs" with nickleback" and the meanings never change.erttheking said:Ah, but you see, Watchdogs is popular. *shrugs* Internet hatred is generally tied to mainstream popularity, so it's a compliment in a weird way. I personally quite like Nickelback, although I wouldn't bother seeing them live.marioandsonic said:Okay, this is something I've been wondering for a while now, since I don't really follow music that much:

OT: This strip unfortunately made me think of Sophie Lancaster, who was beaten to death in a skate park, apparently just for being a goth (or a "mosher" as her attackers called her when they bragged to their friends about it).
Erin Stout, age 27, occupation: Video Games Journalist. Talks to video-game characters who aren't really there; sometimes throws consoles at people.Darth_Payn said:I think Pierce looks freaked out because he looked up Erin's info while she was beating up that Nickelback fan.
I like "Photograph", but that aside... well, a friend of mine told me how her favorite radio station played three Nickelback songs over each other and they matched up almost perfectly. Chad Kroeger knows his three chords and he's stickin' to 'em.Darth_Payn said:OK, I like their song, "Rock Star", and the video for it.
We could have one about NBCDF.Jasper van Heycop said:After all that buildup, no WGDF comic? I'm disappointed and happy at the same time...

Indeed, I was expecting something doge related. I am dissapoint.GamemasterAnthony said:Wow. Such violent. Very Erin.

Sorry...I saw "Doge" at the end of the title and had to do it.
