Who is going to see the Watchmen movie? March 6th theater release! Also, what do you think it will be like?
Keep in mind all other Alan Moore comics that were adapted in films were disappointing for the comic book writer. For example : V for Vendetta, where Moore was quoted as saying that the comic book had been "specifically about things like fascism and anarchy. Those words, 'fascism' and 'anarchy,' occur nowhere in the film. It's been turned into a Bush-era parable by people too timid to set a political satire in their own country.", or The league of extraordinary Gentlemen). About the Watchmen film he was quoted to have said; "There are things that we did with Watchmen that could only work in a comic, and were indeed designed to show off things that other media can't".
Do you think it will be able to remain accurate or maybe you think it SHOULD deviate from the original plot? Do you think the movie is in good hands with Zack Snyder(300)?
