Echo and Holly both looked at each other and started to converse in the strange and somewhat awkward way that they had developed. Eventually, Holly said Ness should make sure the person knew exactly how Ness felt.

"Oh." Jessica initially replied to Trilby, sounding relieved for a moment. Then her actual sense kicked in and she said, "Wait, what?! Taokaka is here, apparently being held under heavy guard, and Vanessa wants to try and do something about it? I need more details!" Hearing what Yukino said, Jessica nearly started to panic. There's a time window?! I still don't know what I have to do! She quickly ran up the stairs she had seen Ness go up, but since she was already in a room, found no sign of her. Is it already too late?! "Vanessa! Where'd you go?" She called out.

Nybeth explained to Rita. "And what, pray tell, have you been working on?" He curiously asked. He noticed Fecl approaching and pointed his walking stick at the creature. Ness nods toward both Echo and Holly before hearing Jess' voice. "...Thanks. Excuse me a moment." Having her normal expression, she walks out of the room and waves at Jess. "Right here."

Data watched as Jessica ran in a mad dash, and turned to Trilby.
"I suppose you would not mind helping me locate the Xenomorph?" he asked Trilby.
He turns to Y, "Fighting seventy armed men is a foolish move, to say the least, and highly illegal."[hr]
As Nybeth pointed his stick to Fecl, he he crawls into a ball, his tentacles weaving into a shield.

"Immortality? That's a pretty lofty goal. As for me, my master showed me something that gave me an idea. What it boils down to is calling down Heavenly lightning to smite my foes. If successful it should be able to kill just about anything." Looking towards where his walking stick was pointing Rita sighed "Great... well you said you wanted to dissect him right? Feel free."

"Currently this base is being set up as a new staging point. We still have some soldiers back at the old base, though. At the moment it is being set up for future action, but we'd like to see what we have at our disposal before we ran any sort of planning session." Savranth explained.
Jessica sighed with relief upon seeing Ness and walked over closer to her. "So, it, uh, looks like we have some things we really need to talk about then." She nervously said to Ness as she seemed to avoid making eye contact with her.

"But magic powerful enough to destroy just about anything, also quite the achievement held on the highest branches, waiting for one with enough drive to pluck it." Glancing up from his musing at Fecl, he barked, "Quiet you! There is little more that irritates me more than a noisy test subject." then cast Word of Pain, launching another slashing missile at the creature.
