Weapon of choice

So there's not that much explaining to do for this thread. What would your chosen weapon be if you could have one from any game. Any game ever. That's right. Ever. And why?

I would probably have to choose the Crossbow from Bioshock. It's not overly powerful or amazingly magical, it's just a nice little weapon, fun and easy. Although if its anything like the normal crossbows it'd be a real pain to reload

The Mysterious Stranger's Magnum from Fallout 3, if that counts. It can only be obtained through console commands, and does around 9000 damage. It uses .44 rounds, but doesn't need them, and never breaks.

on a side note the axe/sledgehammer combo from dead rising 2 is a personal favorite

I tend to aim for something well-rounded, thats usefully in mid range and even in long range, with decent accuracy, and maybe even a single/auto shot. The M4 is the only gun i can think of along these lines at the moment.
I like the freedom to snipe at mid-long range, but while still being effective at mid-short range
