Since I have a black coat and can usually be seen carrying a backpack and/or lunchbox, people have mistaken me for a pusher

The most common assumption people make about me is that I'm a biker purely because I have long hair,a beard and wear black a lot

My younger brother told me a great one once though.A few years ago he was in his friends car and they drove past me.The friend(obviously not knowing who I was)turns to my brother and says, completely seriously,"that guy there is a dangerous fucker.I heard he's a black belt and once beat the shit out of 6 guys at the same time".My bro and me nearly pissed ourselves laughing when he told me later.I still have no idea how that story got started

People often assume that I'm "smart" and nag me for help.

Probably because I actually work during class instead of socializing.

I guess "work" to them means the same thing as "knows what the hell he's doing".

EDIT: People also assume that I'm a stoner because I wear flanel, I have acne, I have messed up
hair, my skin is dry, and I do extremely neurotic things.

......alright, maybe they have a point...

-Do you have a girlfriend
- Nope
- what? Are you gay?
- Me annoyed- Yes I am gay.....
- Mhmhm ok, just you know I dont have anything against gays dont worry
- Me neither..

Most people think I am 5 years older, I don't even have facial hair how can I look older?? ;p This can be really useful if I am at a bar or buying alcohol though, no one asks me questions.

I'm a junior now, but as a freshman people always assumed I was a senior, or in college. Went to a party the summer before freshman year wearing a Syracuse University shirt, and was asked by a couple people what I was majoring in there. Now, people always assume I'm a dumbass jock just because I'm tall and somewhat muscular, despite the fact that I'm highly above average for intelligence.

Everyone thinks I'm miserable because my face appears to portray misery. It might be the fact that my eyebrows are usually obscured by my fringe.

And yes, even though I do little work, my amusing array of little factoids, coupled with my posh accent, lead many to prompt me for help as they have labelled me as "smart".

Apparently I have an angry face and a rather determined walk. So people seem to think I'm always pissed off about something.

Ironically I'm usually paying so little attention to the world around me that I'm hardly ever angry.

I do like to sit in the history section of the library.

I didn't like the person who took the picture (he gave me the ridiculous sunglasses to wear - it was a fad he was doing). Though for all we know I'm asleep. But I'm sure that's a bit of a half-smile.

For some reason, people assume that I'm a violent person. Maybe its because I play violent video games, want to join the military, laughed out loud at Inglorious Basterds and Kick Ass, carry a 2.5 inch tactical knife in my pocket, and make empty threats to my friends about how I'm gonna kick their ass.
Strangely enough, I've never been in a real fight, never had violent thoughts about other people (except for Hitler, Osama Bin Laden, and every rapist ever), and the idea of actually committing a violent act on another human being makes me turn pale. I would never intentionally hurt anyone else through violent actions, unless they are hurting someone else.

Well most of my family assumes I'm gay, just because I've never had a girlfriend yet (I'm 15...).
Even though I tell them I have no interest in dating, they won't believe me :\
That's pretty much it, though.

The first time my girlfriend saw me in class, she thought I was from Europe. Nowhere specific, but she kinda expected me to speak with a foreign accent. She was slightly shocked when I spoke with a Connecticut accent... where I was born and raised...
