That I was going to slowly murder everyone in my school.

Second that. Also the fact that I'm Media-loving (watch a lot of TV Shows, Movies, play Video Games and listen to Music) I must waste my life away to all those things. Not true. I watch/listen/play all that stuff after school while doing homework/at dinner. Weekends I'll only do that if I'm really tired.

Because of the way I dress and speak, people assume I'm a very assertive conservattive, which is quite far from the truth.

Another weird assumption by someone I did a group assignment with was that I didn't constantly think about sex, which is also nonsense. I'm just better at keeping quiet about it.

People think that I actually care, that I am a going to go insane and kill everyone this probably isn't helped by my obsession with weaponry and my worryingly large knowledge of how to make explosives.


There is also the assumption that I am either a Goth or a Satanist.
I was called a Goth because I was wearing a Gunblade necklace.
The Satanist one is more because my mothers family is deeply catholic and I don't really get along with them.

But the crowning one for me was when I was 9 years old. California water is butt-freezingly cold, so to not catch hypothermia, I had to always wear a wetsuit. One time, my leash from my body board wasn't secured so I fell off completely into the ice cold water. A diver however, was unfortunately nearby and called to his friend that an "otter" was nearby and to get the camera. The guy took the picture of me.

I lol'd.

OnT: Some people who see me for the first time think I'm gay. I guess it's because I'm pretty meterosexual.

That said, I've had someone turn around to a friend of mine and say "Jay, you like racist jokes, right?"

So maybe I'm in with the wrong crowd.

To be honest, I haven't had anything like that to me that I remember. The only I can think of is people in my school don't think I'm a gamer, and just a conventional nerd, but that's because all these people are the kind of people who play modern warfare on their xbox's all day and don't think there is any other type of gaming. They also think (the girls in my school do this more.) I'm a loner, which is moderately true, but they also think because I am a loner, I am therefore incorruptible, good, and don't think of girls in a sexual nature. Like, I once went to a birthday party of a friend, and his other friend heard me swear and said "I never though YOU would swear this much."
I also get the "Your just a kid, you can't really be on the same level has me, and be has good of a gamer and has intelligent." thing a lot.

They also think I am lying when I say that I have never gone further than kissing a lad, just because I am 19.

Lots of people here seem to get mistaken for gay. I get the reverse.

Then again, it's not much of a stretch. I'm pretty much straight gay, and my attitude towards camp gays is less "zomg buttsecks" and more "Jesus fucking christ, man up you ******".

I'm probably the most homophobic gay outside of deep south US christians.

People tend to make weird assumptions about me. Many people assume I'm 5 years younger than I am since I actually know how to shave and have a quality razor. Also, being 4 inches shorter than most people helps too. Also, many people think I'm Hispanic, which is strange since I'm half White and Half Asian.

People assume I'm a decade younger, i have a baby face, but saying I still look 17 or 18 when I'm 27, seems alittle ridiculous

When i tell people i live about 10 miles from the Welsh border they still think i'm Welsh. I think they've still yet to realise that i have no trace of the Welsh accent and a burning hatred for them.

Most guys on the street think I want to sleep with them since I usually (gasp) walk by myself. Yeah. They always get confused when I tell them off for harassment.

On a lighter note, most people assume I'm Indian when they see me (I'm not).

Me and my best friend both had boyfriends, and because in this party where we got bored we went down to the pool to relax and talk away from the music, these guys followed us and told everyone that we were making out... luckily people came to us to check the rumours instead of spreading them or something actually.

For a year, two of my teachers called me Watkins for some unexplained reason... and they genuinely thought it was my name, despite the register. I actually have no idea how two TEACHERS would mess up my name!
Also, someone once asked me if I was greek. I don't know where that came from either.
