Well, in that case, I guess I don't have an addiction.

But on the side, may I ask why psychological addictions (as in, the addiction to things like chocolate which are expressed as extreme desire to the point of unhealthy behavior) do not count? There are cases where these can be pretty dangerous.

It's weird, the caffeine thing. For a few weeks when I was working nights I'd drink cups of instant with literally 2 or 3 tablespoons of powder in, it was like sludge, to keep me from falling asleep. I figured after a few months of that I'd definitely be addicted but I'm not in the slightest. Havent drank coffee in months.

also being self-aware of an addiction is not always common place, i mean i love to drink but i wouldn't say i'm addicted.
