What are you listening to this month? Is it something new? Something old? Something you've been waiting weeks to post? Or is it that song you can't escape hearing at work? Now is your chance to share. Genre is wide open.

I found Nero Di Marte a couple of weeks ago and I haven't stopped listening to them since.

They're this Italian death/experimental metal band and they're great.

I've been listening to multi-artist album Beating a Dead Horse. It's nothing more than a joke album, but the songs are still really good.

These five songs are pretty much all I listen to currently. Though I do occasionally jam to one of the songs from Markiplier's channel.

I like to listen to most of a composer's major works in a row before moving to the next. I'm still on Ralph Vaughan Williams and Franz Liszt, because I haven't really set much time aside for listening to music.

Right now in the background I have this playing, which isn't Vaughan Williams or Liszt.

True, but you can't prove I'm thinking about you in that way.

Anyway I've been listing to a lot of Blind Guardian lately. Mostly Beyond the Red Mirror and At the Edge of Time. But I always have time to listen to Fly.

I've been enjoying these as of a few minutes ago:

I've had them hidden away in some obscure playlist for ages, though.

Been really into these guys lately. Metal that isn't super-serious is always better and these guys are just incredible- Ben Koller from Converge and Stephen Brodsky from Cave In are in it so you could probably see that coming, but MM stands up on its own material. Not a single bad song so far!

Whilst I love iwresltedabearonce, I can understand why everyone I've ever met despises them. This new album is a bit less silly (but still mental) and a bit heavier, which is always a good direction.

I'm obsessed with this cover. ETID push it so much further than Nirvana did, Keith Buckley is an insane vocalist and my deep and abiding man-crush is only getting stronger.

Refused are back. Refused are back. Refused are back. Refused are back. Refused are back. Refused are back.

...You might be able to tell, I'm pretty fucking excited about the new Refused album.

Thank God because there is no way I'm doing that thing with egg whisk, the flying helmet and the stick of celery.

I've just been playing Hearthstone and Infinity Wars with this on in the background

*topdecks Majordomo Executus*

BE A MAN! PLAY THAT SHIT!

*Topdecks Ruins of Veroria*

BE A MAN! HALVE YOUR HP FOR AN ARGUABLY NOT WORTH IT EFFECT! WOOOOOOOOO!

The Majordomo Mage deck is carrying me to Rank 13/12 alone and I have no idea how. Double Ice Block/Ice Barrier, an Illuminator or two plus an Antique Healbot for healing kinda ruins the aggro meta.

I have a few tunes floating around the old thinker at the moment. Let's begin with:

A mashup of two of my favourite show themes.

Renowned Steampunk band Abney Park playing an old Russian wartime song.

The Living Tombstones FNAF 3 song. It is probably my favourite walking tune, also good for any other action with repetitive, rhythmic movement (such as hacking animatronic animals apart with a hatchet).

The classic ballad Scarborough Fair, given a metallic sheen by Leaves Eyes. Great for enhancing the feelz.

Another of my walkin choons. Also, really snazzy costumes in the music video. And finally:

Sir Reginald Pikedevant showing us why he is so respected in the chap hop community. I have this memorised and sometimes recite it to cheer myself up.

Listening to a lot of Temperance Movement recently, and have rediscovered the joys of the Stone Temple Pilots after many years away. And you can't beat Massive Attack when it comes to some chilled out drive-time.

My trip down z0r lane has been filled with nothing but music both old and new...

With that said, I have been trying to re-listen to the Balloon Party anthology... Currently, I'm on the...
part of the anthology, which is kinda my favorite so far...

Other than that, yesterday, I saw the music video to Disturbed's The Vengeful One...
