I'm (or rather, was) a board certified electronics technician and fiber optics technician. The latter test I barely passed, though, and I bet I'd fail if I did it again today.

I'm a passable musician and possess relative pitch (Not as good as perfect pitch, so I'm jealous of those with it)

I can grow an awesome hobo beard.

I'm Batman.

I'm good at self-education. Now, if I had any discipline, I could probably learn Latin in my free time.

I'm good at things that involve putting my hands on others. I'm good with massage, I learned quick in Aiki Jujutsu, and I have a list of lovers who would attest to my "manual" skills. Just ignore the things they say about me being psycho. They never found that body and I can totally show you the polygraph result.

I tend to be a very organized and tidy individual. My work often times seems to reflect an absolute mess, but it is merely spread out in order for me to grasp my work and turn to information or sources quickly. I can easily and neatly clean up my work without a moment's notice.

I also have a big attention to detail. Even the smallest, faintest signs to objects, sounds, or feelings will always catch my senses and allow me to analyze the situation accordingly. I tend to also find things that others tend to miss.

Another thing I'm fond of is being able to acquire research and being a quick study. I can research any subject, familiar or foreign, and be able to report my findings in a neat and presentable fashion. It's literally gotten me through the harder half of my college years. I can also learn fundamentals with ease, so long as I have a credible source to reference and I am able to apply it in practice.

I'm good with people. I'm apparently great at listening. I'm also enough of a 'Renaissance Man' to be able to at least hazard a good first approximation on any topic. I'm also one of the few people who will say 'Okay, we'll go with your idea' if I'm unsure of the correct answer to a situation (according to one of my friends), though if their answer is clearly hurtful or wrong, I won't be following it. First Law, and all. :D

Codito, ergo sum?[footnote]I know that is not proper Latin vocab, stole it from ThinkGeek and I don't think there's a Latin word that means that.[/footnote]

I've got an acceptable level of understanding in Python, and can pick up the basics of most programming languages fairly quickly. I also have a way with the written word, which is very useful for bullshitting people.

Let's see...

I can play the guitar reasonably well.
I can sing not too badly.
I can do both of the above at the same time.
I can drive a car with manual transmission, which is apparently unusual in the States.
I'm quite good at being diplomatic.
I learnt martial arts, got good, and I remember most of it.
I can shoot a bow. The ladies love a man who can hit the spot, right? ;)

My skills? Okay, I guess here are my best:
- Graphic arts, specifically digital painting/raster graphics. (No vector logos for me.)
- Driving cars/other small vehicles well (I know way too many people who are either admitted crappy drivers, hate driving, or can't drive. Such is what you get in the big city.)
- Shooting small caliber rifles and handguns
- I learn academic topics easily and am pretty smart.
- I'm pretty strong, so I guess "picking up heavy things" is a skill not everyone has.
- Writing prose.
- I can waterski like a boss, but this isn't exactly a useful skill.
- Sailing.
- Improvising the hell out of a situation.
- Jiu jitsu.

I do what I can. :)

You can fence? That's pretty rad. Is it really intense to duel people? :O
Fencing is mostly about mind games, speed and reflexes. I usually use the first few rounds to get a feel for my opponent, then the fun begins! ;)

I once went up against a friend from my fencing class. We've been fighting for the better part of a year so we knew each other very well, almost too well as it turned out. We clashed for 10 minutes without either of us scoring a point. Had to declare a draw in the end because both of us were too tired to continue >.<

So yes, it does get quite intense =P

Is writing a skill? I like to think of it more as a passion - one other people are willing to pay me for.

There are a lot of things I enjoy doing, but whether that makes them skills or not I'm not sure. I certainly don't have anything I could add to, say, a civilisation trying to pick itself up after an Armageddon. Unless there are any equestrian competitions in said dystopian future. I'd rock those.

I can lie.
I can argue.
I can do mid level math in my head (systems of equations and such)
I have a near perfect memory.
If I listen to a song (and pay attention) twice, I remember the lyrics forever.
I can read quite quickly.
I can pick up any information really quickly.
I play guitar.
I think that's it.

I can cook restaurant quality food; the kind of restaurants that don't bother listing prices.

My friends say I'm good a drawing sexy anime style girls, even if my men also look like sexy flat-chested girls.

I'm good at fixing Windows errors & keeping the system running fast.

I'm pretty much terrible at anything else.
