Honestly radiation is almost never as scary as people imagine it is. If she is staying in a lead room it's probably more of a precaution than anything. Given how seriously small amounts of radiation are taken, it's probably not that big a deal at all.

It is definitely not selfish or thoughtless to hang around for a few minutes in public like that. If one guy happens to stand next to her in the queue for about 2 minutes it will have almost no effect on him.

The reason I'm doubting the validity of what you're saying is mostly that quip about her cellphone mobile (silly America) being destroyed by radiation. Radtiation definitely does not do this to electronics except when higher energy is involved, so I think you're generally overestimating the danger here.

I mean, if she is consuming the damn thing and surviving (and it's apparently safer than having thyroid cancer) I really do doubt it will affect anyone nearby that much.

Captcha: froulay this

Edit: I'm considering the idea that his mother is one of those parents who really likes to mess with their kids' heads every now and then. Honestly my parents did it quite a lot when I was younger.

And here I thought this was going to be a discussion on the word "this". Color me disappointed.
Haha, me too.

OT: WHO LET THE WOMAN OUT OF THE KITCHEN!?

Serious OT: Yes, it's selfish but the radiation levels she'd be letting off would be super minor. I doubt she'd be any more cancerous than second-hand smoking, for example.

Wouldn't you get Lead poisoning if you stayed in a room made entirely out of Lead?
Only if you're thinking of licking and/or hugging the walls...

(I actually accidentally briefly chewed a piece of metal with lead in.... didn't do anything lol)
Oh....I lick and hug my walls all the time. Is that...is that not normal?
