watch:
love = lust + friendship
Also math is for jerks.
People who say that deserve a crotchpunch. Such a cop-out. It's just saying "It's not you, it's me." with new fancy terminology because everyone on the planet has already twigged on that such an excuse is bulldookey 90% of the time.^Mimi said:A week ago, someone broke up with me. And they said "I love you, but I'm not in love with you".
Don't say things like that, you'll get all manner of people messaging you now professing their undying love, offering hugs and 'good' conversation.The only demands I have from someone who tells me they love me, is a hug a day and a good conversation. Anything past that is a bonus.
Well that's a slight exaggeration I'd hope, but I've been around the internet long enough to know it's not that far off reality at times.
I hear most marriages are built on selective lies and omitting certain truths to maintain an equilibrium.RavingPenguin said:I shall give you the biblical definition of what love is: 1 Corinthians 13: 8, Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
I have yet to meet someone who is entirely honest, in love or out.
