Hi, it's getting near the end of finals for me and I assume a lot of others, and what was required of it was making myself do stuff that wasn't fun and just down right shit to be honest. So to keep myself from falling down the shaft of depression I have my go to videos to save me from really thinking about just giving up. These being

So what are your go to video's, movies, games that are you're general pick me up's when you're in the crap?

Inside Gaming is usually my go to place if I've had a shitty day. I usually just head straight for the videos I know that will get me laughing. Including the two Duck [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQ7vxMS5jFA] Dynasty [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZenTJjja9Y] videos and my two favorites from their new series on Chrome [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWwGJY2SfAo], which is just hilarious [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d14HRNE9S9s].

Sadly, I lack games, movies, tv shows I can turn to. There are some funny anime, but trying to find the parts that can really make me laugh can be quite hard.

That's some sparkling coastline. It puts me in mind of Malaysia. You have a beautiful home.

If life sucks and I need a pick-me-up, I go after the happiest videos in the world...

Yeah, it's probably my fault this video broke Youtube

and of course...

I watch the rest of their videos too if I'm bored but Fox is certainly the most recognizable. I would strongly recommend "Stonehedge" myself...

and lastly...

Just about everything from Lonely Island is awesome but Michael Bolton makes everything awesome so it wins

Pure stupid fun; that's the key to my heart.

20 minutes on /a/ and i'm already cheered up. That board is so funny, I love it. The many, many quotes that are burned into my head... The way they shut down trolls in one sentence is crazy, everyone else needs to learn this.

Best quotes include:

"If you can still get hard to real life 3D porn, you shouldn't be able to post on this thread"

*guy makes a mocking comment on a Watamote thread*

"Welcome to 4chan, ******"

*guy rages about how the protagonist Yuuji in a Grisaia no Kaijitsu thread is the worst thing ever and you should all feel bad about liking him*

"That a fact?"

A line Yuuji uses all the time as an acknowledgement of person's statement. Not noticing it's kind of obnoxious.

Way to little these days. Am becoming a miserable lonely bastard in my 30s, really need to turn that around somehow.

Dragonball Z Abridged, or basically anything by team fourstar. I also enjoy watching Many a True Nerd play games for laughs. They amuse me and make me feel good.

I feel like you'd love Burnout 3. It's really fun. Long story short it's a street racing game that encourages you to drive like a maniac and ram competitors off the road or into traffic. They also have crash mode where you try to cause the biggest pile up you can. It's a blast.

If I'm feeling particularly down and I don't want to talk to anybody, I usually just listen to music and do nothing for a while.

I just put on my headphones, throw on something that suits my mood and just lie on my bed/the floor for a while, sometimes I'll go out for a walk. It doesn't fill me with joy but it relaxes me and I feel more able to deal with whatever it is that's going on.

That sounds really wanky, doesn't it?

This. There's also a non-TFS abridged series based around Fist of the North Star...though that one may have died...

This isn't a site but what cheers me up like nothing else is the film Punisher: War Zone. It's a hard-R but the fight scenes, the death scenes...Hell, the whole movie is just a ton of fun. It's incredibly violent but it just makes me incredibly happy while I watch it.

I can't compete with lonely Island.

I'm too boring.

Sometimes I look at this and let the unfolding of it make me smile (I know it's a self-plug, but I really DO find it makes me happy)...

Since someone else posted their home as a thing that comforts them, well I have to say my home is much the same. As a kid I was always interested in getting out, but I realized that getting out made my life complicated as hell and people were just horrible compared to where I grew up. Not everyone mind you, but on a scale it seems that my hometown just attracts good hearted people over shitheads. Not to say there aren't horrible folks there, just that the percentage is much smaller.

So much love for my hometown. Key Largo, FL is just awesome awesome awesome and I'm so lucky to have grown up there, spent a better part of my life there and hopefully one day I'll be able to move back there.

There are a number of things that I do, and I try to mix it up so one doesn't get boring after a while.

The one I do all the time that gets me in a relaxed mood is walking my dog, whenever I'm home, which is less than half the year due to work and travelling. Doesn't matter what is going on, walking with my dog calms me down. She's happy to get a walk, and I just get time to be in a quiet place and clear my mind.

Playing Video Games is another one. Just focusing on a different worlds problems allows me to not have to think about our worlds problems. Sometimes it can get me a new perspective on things.

Other things I do include working out, chatting on forums, and reading Manga.

One of the biggest stress relievers for me is to talk about One Piece, my favorite piece of fiction ever (at least at the moment). There is so much I love about it, and so much to look forward in the series, that I love to discuss theories and just talk about the current chapters and arc.

No matter how bad I feel or how shitty my day has been, talking with my boyfriend always makes me happy. It's even better when I can see him in person, but that isn't always a possibility.

If I can't talk to him at the time for whatever reason, I sit outside, whatever the weather is. I'm particularly fond of the rain, but sunshine or moonlight or overcast or whatever works too. It's just a good way to clear my mind.
