let me see,where do I start?

1)idiot politicians that have kidnapped the country for the past 32 years and turned a civilized modern coutry to one of the worst in the world

2)the fact that the government stole our election and ruined the little hope we had for reform

3)our terrible reputation and the fact that everyone in the world hates us

4)air polution in Tehran,traffic and angry people who are all on the edge

5)terrible economy and therefore dishonesty and more and more fraud as the result

6)lack of individual feedom like drinking and dancing being "illegal" (though we do all that behind the closed doors and in our private parties)

7)religion interfering in everything

8)no respect for the human rights from the government

9)the fact that my country could have been a great tourism spot(6000 years of civilization and many different climates from deserts to ski resorts) but basically has zero tourists b/c the regime is stupid

10)the fact that everyone is now trying to leave and people's relationships are ruined

well that's about the summary.saying that,in Iran being born in a fine family can change a lot of things.unlike the government,many people are civilized and modern and your sorrounding hugely determines how your life will be. you could live a very similar lifestyle to europeans (or other places in the world) depending on your surroundings,and if you have money you can overall be happy with it and your "selected" surroundings and ignore other people's problems,but I personally find it hard to ignore despite the fact that I'm a lucky person myslef.

Most agree that we're in a strong position to become the world's first oil-free economy. Although it would most certainly be better without the moderates in charge.

Where to begin :/

Going from celtic tiger to celtic kitten in a matter of months. Its fair to say it happened every where but things here are so disorganised here its not funny. Take my college as an example, we still dont have a fixed timetable even though we are in week 2 and our second elective is clashing with 2 other subjects the result being we havent had any classes. It looks like next week will be the earliest that it can be sorted. 2 weeks down in a 12 week module... great isnt it.

Europe clearly love us aswell, well not anymore seeing as we are taking all of their money to fix a problem our financial regulator should have stamped out decadeds ago.

Corruption in goverment, they were there for 10+ years and got pretty comfortable so its no surprise that alot of corruption alegations have been made about past ministers.

Our health service despite having many hard working highly dedicated staff is managed so badly its embaresing. Ministers and people in charge despite ploughing money into it didnt fix a thing and still the HSE (health service executive) soaked up all the cash and didnt improve.

Roads are shocking. Potholes are fixed by chucking loose asphalt/tar (whatever the call it) into them and the result is within a week its open for business again.

Pipes that exploded in December during the freezing temperatures are still leaking all over the place, leading to massive wastage of clean water.
