I believe that everyone sent to hell is forced to watch movies made by Ewe Boll that are "adaptations" of every single thing that you've ever loved.

FOREVER.

I agree with the OP. Seriously, Beksinski is genuinely talented. Who knows? Hell might be that horrifying and beautiful at the same time.
Heh, I think that's a joke, knowing God, and the fact that Lucifer's sin was his pride and his own sense of beauty, I think God would go out of his way to make hell as gruesome and miserable as he possibly could, personally, i subscribe to the whole Burning flaming rape everywhere brimstone, tortured for an eternity idea, or the frozen, away from the warmth of god idea. To me, God wouldn't allow hell, a place of torment and resentment to be beautiful in even the slightest way, as he warped Lucifer, he would warp it into something ugly and disturbing. If you believe in a hell anyway, it's my favorite fictional place. Also I'm not a big art guy.

I imagine a filthy bar filled with perverted old men, with oceans of chest hair. Also the song "Sexual healing" is playing non-stop...

A perpetual Slayer mosh pit. I'd love it but I can't imagine most people would like all the satanic imagery, being pushed, punched etc. Plus these things can be dangerous, there's definitely pain involved. A guy near me when I saw them dislocated his shoulder and my friend broke her wrist.

Personally I imagine it as a Zdzislaw Beksinski painting. [http://www.beksinski.pl/]
Thanks for linking the gallery, that's now who I entrust my interpretation of hell to.

I did dream I was hell one time... It must have been hell..
Anyway, I was driving a car, into the woods, seeing it from a overview shoot.
All of the sudden... fire, dirt, children with dirty, bloody bandages over there faces, but with big mouth chewing earth and col, some thin other pretty fat, scares all over, screaming things like "He is the master! He sees all!" They sweat and they eat, some hang from the "roof" bleeding. Whips cracking in the background.... And then I woke up. I had that dream 10 years ago and after that I have only had two nightmare. ((One of my sister getting stabbed and one where my girlfriend (now ex-g)got killed)).... And this is just what I can write down. To feel the heat, smell the earth and smoke... that was one scary dream.

I've always imagined Hell to be just like regular Earth, and you don't realize you're in hell, but every day you live in Hell, is inconvenient in every way imaginable. You wake up late for work/school feeling cold/sweaty because your sheets fell off your bed, you get out of bed and stub your toe, hit your head. You have no clean clothes to wear, and have to wear a pair of dirty torn jeans, and a really lame shirt that is way too small. You rip your socks when putting them on, etc. etc. for the whole day. Every day. For eternity.

THAT for me, is the worst kind of hell.

Dark. As if you were constantly in between being blind and barely being able to see anything- unable to see but sense every other horror of immense heat, pain or horrible sounds.

But the concept of Hell makes as much sense as Heaven and I don't think either exists.

Hmmm, sounds kinda like Christianity's idea of Heaven to me. Oh, the irony, but so true so true...

Hell is actually a big waiting room where you stand in line in a slow moving que behind millions of people only to repeat the whole process once you get to the front. Crowley designed it himself.

I'm thinking it won't be ironic punishments, just the whole eternal damnation and suffering. I'm thinking Dante's Inferno... Whether it's the poem or the game, I don't know but either one works. And I can guess that there won't be a kindly Roman poet to save my arse

An island with whatever sinful things in life I am not supposed to have in abundance. I actually don't believe in Hell btw, but if I did... that would be it.

A club filled with men and really ugly chicks with really horrible laughs and find everything funny. Headlining in Justin Bieber singing Friday and he won't leave until it's over but everytime someone moves the song repeats. There's nothing to drink, no drugs, no way to get out and no way to kill myself.

Edit: The above is what I think eternal damnation would look like. Hell, I'm beginning to think is just a big party where all the cool people who didn't go to Heaven end up.

In all seriousness, I like to believe Dante Alighieri was right. Nine circles, grotesque monsters, all very beautiful.
