Character I would most like to invite? Screw the rules! I invite as many characters as I want!

I know I'd definitely want to bring Raz (Psychonauts).
[snip] Maybe Ellie from Last of Us.
Heck, why not just invite the entire cast of characters from Psychonauts. They were all pretty awesome. I second Ellie. She's tough and I like how she is so into her joke book and comics and blunt and well, she's just cool.

I'd personally invite the entire party of KOTOR I. I've only played an hour of the second game so I can't speak for its characters. I only really care for Jolee, due to those unintentional comical moments because he's so old and has a refreshing pragmatic nature, and HK-47, so charismatic in his sass and belittlement of humans, but the rest can be great when put in the right dynamic with other people. While we're on the topic of Star Wars, I bet Kyle Katarn would be a hoot. He seems like hew knows how to party. Dante from Devil May Cry 3 (I haven't played the other ones, so I don't know how different his character is, in terms of character development I mean, in the other games) would definitely get a party started. Narrator from Bastion would be cool. Crash Bandicoot seems to fit a party atmosphere well. Alfred as portrayed in the Arkham series would make a great guest, not because he's a butler, I wouldn't make him do butler stuff, but because he's appropriately witty and sassy. GLaDOS and Wheatley shouldn't need explaining. Because who said artificial intelligence can't come? Was it you, you monster?

Honestly, I'd just be happy inviting the voice actors for these characters and ask they speak and act like their characters. The actual character manifesting in real life would be awesome, but voice actors is the next big thing.

Yasuo from League of Legends. He's kind of that perfect trinity of woobiness, kindness and snarkiness that would be honestly be interesting, if not fun, to be around.

Though his drinking might be a problem.

Juliet from Lollipop Chainsaw. She's super fun and would have some pretty interesting stories.

I would invite several of my created characters from the various Fallouts, Elder Scrolls, and BioWare games. I would start the conversation with: "I made you the person you are, any questions?"

Hopefully people don't die at this party.

For my birthday coming up in Dec. 13. I would love to invite the following.
Ezio from Assassin's Creed: Why? So we can get drunk and hit on some girls :D
Lightning from FF13: Because she is so cool and one of my favorite FF characters
Steve from Minecraft: Cause well he would probably bring me a diamond. Then we could build shit with legos.
Frank West from Dead Rising: So he could take the photos and also help fend off zombies.
Spy from TF2: He would bring the class to the party.
Lara Croft from Tomb Raider (2013): She could help me with shooting a bow.
Nathan Drake from Uncharted: Because I wanna see what he would try with Lara.
Yeah pretty much thats a short list but hey thats also a lot.

Assuming my party is full of people I don't like (don't ask why they would be there in the first place) Corvo would be a great person to have around. Other than that charming fella, I'd pay to have Gitaroo Man, and Parappa the Rapper come around to do a sort of VG-Children of the Korn kind of thing. Hatsune Miku may be a bit of a stretch but she's invited.

The Heavy from TF2 because we both appreciate a damn good Sandvitch and large bullet-vomiting weapons. Added bonus, even though he was a comic character, Deadpool would be fun... yeah its probably not a creative choice but I want fun at my birthday and having Deadpool there would make my day.
Hmmm... Anyone else I could think of might turn out to be a disaster or boring without elements of their world present for them to kill.

My first choice is Zidane from Final Fantasy IX, mainly because he's just generally a great guy who could probably get along with pretty much everyone.

Other than that, I'd say maybe Adam Jensen, but he'd probably just send the invitation back with a message saying, "I never asked for this."

...

I'll show myself out...

Hey, we share the same birthday!

OT: Leon S. Kennedy. He seems like a cool guy, and should zombies crashes my party I know I will be in good hands. Maybe invite Ada too for good measure for unexpected assistance in tight spots.

Tempted to say Lara Croft but that might not go down well with the recent attention being paid to sexism, etc.

So lets go with Geralt from the Witcher series, so we can go hunt some monsters.

Raz from pyschonauts would be fun to hang out with. We could have some beers and watch him set fire to things with his mind.

Francis York Morgan. He can bring his imaginary friend Zach and then we can shoot shadows together in the otherworld. It would beat the hell out of paint balling that's for sure.

Commander Shepard...provided that the Commander was banned from the dancing floor.

The principle cast of Bastion, because I see them as relishing the chance to cut loose (which I see as doing wonders for the event's atmosphere)

Louis (Left 4 Dead) because he just seems the type I'd enjoy palling around with.

Alistair (Dragon Age) for the same reasons as Louis.

I wouldn't be able to invite anyone. I'd be too embarrassed and not prepared for it. If I could be prepared and it would go swimmingly, I'd pick Albert Wesker. Kill my enemies Wesker, that is the present I want.

Gordon freeman. Not only would it be cool to actually talk to the legend...
Talk TO, sure. But it'd be an awfully one-sided conversation... And the wrong side, at that. >;D I'd instead invite Alex, thank you very much.

Jaime Reyes from Deus Ex. He's good-humored and chill. Quite unlike most game characters, really.

Well, I would first invite Luigi because if I don't, I would be a terrible supporter friend for sure... Then, I would invite Rayman because that n***a's my "G 4 life"! Finally, before I make my birthday an open invitation for everyone, I'll invite Jak and Daxter because I still put them a bit higher than Ratchet and Clank...

Other than that, I would make sure that R.O.B., Pac-Man, and Mr. Game and Watch get the "Birthday V.I.P" treatment as well as a special guest appearance from Batman... because Batman...

Probably Zeke Dunbar from inFamous. Because an overweight, tatood elvis impersonator with that personality is the kind of guy I want at my parties from this day forth.

Also, Varrick from Dragon Age 2, for similar reasons.

The two of them together would make for some awesome stories to tell years from now.

Hang on one moment...

*brings fanfiction self to this reality*

What do you think?

GAMEMASTER: I don't know. The Mario Brothers would want Italian to be served...Sonic would damand chili dogs, and make sure he doesn't make them because whatever he makes his chili with with give you the trots for days...Bass would frighten small children...Megaman and Roll would get confused for some guy's kids...Ryu's too busy looking for his next fight...Link and Zelda won't like being called elves by the other guests...

So...all of the above, just for the LOLs?

GAMEMASTER: Yeah...just be wary of Hades crashing the party and being his smarmy self if Pit comes and make sure you save and entire table's worth of food for Kirby.
