Purely to just how bat-shit insane the entire level and overall game is.
Son of a-

That was what I thought of straight away.

Granted i'd probably just spend most of the time in that hippy chicks mind bouncing around the room and smoking hookah.

Azure Dreams, because if you avoid going in the tower its a pretty nice place. Plus if you play your cards right you can be in the center of your very own Tenchi Harem.

Probably the Yakuza/Ryu Ga Gotoku version of modern Tokyo. It's not too much different from reality, but with lovely little moments of utter insanity. Plus, pedestrians have assured safety, so it's not like GTA or Saint's Row where you'd be afraid the gang member will kill you or beat you to death with a giant purple cock.

It depends. I would love to live in Gensokyo, if not for the fact that most humans are lower on the food chain than the youkai. Of course, if I were to become acquainted with some of the friendlier characters or somehow happen upon a magic artefact or arcane knowledge, then I think it'd be a wonderful, lazy lifestyle. So it really depends on if I would be just dropped into whatever role or if I can take on the role that I want to.

The same goes for Pokémon. If I could be a trainer who travels with a couple friends, it'd be a lot of fun. If not, though, life wouldn't be very exciting.

I guess it's the same case with an eroge. If I were the protagonist, and one of the love interests were someone I'd like to spend time with, then it'd be great. Otherwise... meh.

So, yeah. It depends on my role within the game world.

I think I'd go for the Bioshock universe or Dragon's Dogma universe.
Or the SMT:Nocturne/Lucifer's Call demon-universe.

Probably the castle from Ico.

If it weren't for the fact that there are shadowy creatures that spawn wherever they like and the fact that a lot of the castle is in a state of disrepair, I would gladly live there. So freaking beautiful.

I'd also love to live in the Fallout universe. All that radiation, mutated wildlife, bands of disgruntled raiders, an army of xenophobic men in creepy looking power armor, the poor living conditions...

Yeah, the wasteland would be a great place... to look at from space.

Does a porn game count?

Okay for real? That's a hard as many say your not going to be important or badass..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

. . .

Pariah.
They have advanced technology, seemingly good health care, and they are futuristic. Other then that I would not want to live on the planet the game is set on.

EVE. Absolutely. Go ahead and laugh. The thought of space travel like that, living on space stations, cloning yourself to the other side of the galaxy in an instant. Enough for me. Hell, just like now I'd be happy just working on an asteroid colony (or colonies) or be a courier just too experience and see more of space.

If that's too much TES or Fallout. While both go back to humans living somewhat simpler lives, both are dangerous as fuck. Maybe TES more so than FO. Just because who the hell wouldn't want to be able to do even base magic?

Obviously, Pokemon is the first thing that comes to mind, with many good reasons already stated. Surely most people ask for a Pokemon MMO for the main purpose of creating a dynamic Pokemon universe that we players can inhabit (virtually, that is).

Chrono Trigger (1000 A.D.) is another rather peaceful place to live. This is the only point in Chrono Trigger's time without any catastrophic events happening.

And Persona 4's Inaba. I'm not completely sold on living there, as it doesn't seem to have much to do, but there's just something about a small town in the middle of nowhere that charms me, so I'd like to at least visit it.

I need to be able to live in an active world, and I generally prefer the scifi-dystopia universes. Furthermore, it'd have to be somewhere I can be capable of capitalizing on my own skills.

I already have close friends, the addition of going into a TV and fighting Shadows with the ability to summon entities of our true inner selves that give us not only magic but superhuman strength... all after a hard day of high school... sign me up.

Problem is you only get to see the game world from the protagonists viewpoint. None of the game worlds would be nearly as fun without you being that one in a million, fated, destined, hero of heroes (or anti-heroes as the case maybe).

I would like to live in the Pokemon world, because you are encouraged to have pets, as many as you like and becoming powerful can happen in a matter of hours. Also the bullies are easy to defeat.

What about you escapist?
The very first post exemplifies this problem. This guy doesn't want to live in that world. The guy wants to assume the role of the protagonist from the series.

If it was really that easy to excell, then everyone would be doing it.

Had some trouble with this one. The Batman: Arkham games would be a fascinating place to live, but my choices would be limited to either living in terror of all the supercriminals or joining up with one of them only to be beaten into a pulp a few times by Batman before inevitably being murdered by my own employer. The environment of the Portal games, though dangerous, would be a lot of fun (for however long it lasted), but the events in the games and even their backstories are so self-contained that I doubt I'd be able to get in on the action... which would leave me with that whole Combine invasion to worry about.

So I was about to give in and just go with Pokemon when it hit me: Minecraft! After all, the process of making a living for yourself is already the entirety of the game's incredibly rewarding experience, and actually living in it would alleviate the issue of eventually having to get off your computer because the challenges of real life aren't nearly as forgiving or stress-free. And even the dangers rapidly fade from threatening to mere, fun adventure once you get yourself established with proper armor, weapons, and the like. It's foolproof!

Elder scrolls, because then I get to have CHIM, and just create w/e the fuck I want with my mind.

I could have ALL of your worlds in mine, and still have room left over.
Ah but thats only if your puny human mind could deal with the fact that you dont exist.

I'd like to live in the world of Kingdom Hearts. Every single Disney and Square Enix property in existence in one universe? Count me in. Although im mainly going for the Disney.. And maybe a few of those Final Fantasy girls
