Original NES, but I had played some PC games (an old greenscreen mac that had some golf game on it.) The SNES, N64, PS2, Xbox, PC. Yep, went back to my roots, I don't own any current gen consoles and I don't plan on buying any of them.

I was N64 when I got hooked (first one I owned), but I started with the SNES at friends houses. God I loved duck hunt.
Duck Hunt? Are sure you don't mean the original NES. I don't recall there being a Duck Hunt on the SNES.
See kids this is why you don't mix drugs and type online you make stupid errors. The whole history of duck huntand I (a love story): I started on the SNES but later we got kicked to the NES when my friend's brother and friends wanted to play. I had a great time becuase they got out the NES (duck hunt!) to keep us out of the way and none of them could beat me at duck hunt.

I come from the N64/Playstation/Dreamcast era. I also played plenty of NES games during that time.

Those were some good times.

Was maybe 5 or so when I had an Atari, then NES, then Genesis/SNES, then N64, PS, PS2/XBox/Gamecube/Dreamcast, PS3/Xbox 360 (and just about every gameboy in existence (virtua boy aside) till the gameboy advance that flipped like slightly older cell phones now a days.) It also helped that we have 3 boys in the family, so to avoid fighting we kinda had to have our own systems...

3 years old........

...was when I started gaming. Not very good, mind you, but willing. I had an SNES. Wetting the bed and Super Mario was all I knew.

I was 4 or 5 when I started gaming in 1993 with an NES. My very first video game as the 8-bit original Mario Bros.

Started with the PC and DOOM. Way back in 1995. I was born in 1991, so I started when I was... 4 years old.

Then I moved onto a SNES with Mario RPG.

Good times.

First home computer I had was a C64 with a tapedeck. After that I got a 5,2 floppydrive with it which was a whole improvement so it didn't take 5 min. to load a game anymore.
After that my father bought his first PC 368 12 Mhz (and had a turbo button :S). Played things like captain comic on it and the flintstones. After that a 468 100 Mhz up till now.
Still have a NES here to play duckhunt on.

Hell I don't even know the name of the console, but I guess was one of the Atari, remember playing that game you controlled an egg that Yahtzee is always talking about.

Then my dad bought a computer, first game I played was Spear of Destiny.
