What Half life 2 zombies sound like... Backwards.

When you set zombies on fire in Half-life 2 on fire, they scream right. Apparently it's not the headcrab screaming. It's the guy they've taken over. If you haven't heard it before, backwards, then you'll know what i'm talking about when you watch it. Apparently backwards they're screaming "God help me! Help me!". See what I mean:

It's made me kinda freaked out. Especially as it's late at night.

I do feel sorry for the headcrabbed, especially the guy you find the first time you meet zombies in HL2. Where he's trying to wrestle it off and all you can do is stand there and watch...
However the whining when you set them on fire is kindof annoying and I wish they'd shutup and die. Lol

Still, it's really creepy it's one of the only things that makes me pause for a second before killing something in a game. Hard to believe that a game that isn't even close to the horror genre creeps me out more than games that are, huh?

It's ZOMBIES. They got their face eaten. Of course they're going to be screaming! No one cares about the zombies, anyway. Try doing interpretations of what the Combine say. Now that's an interesting thing to do.

I guess because in other zombie games, they've already lost their humanity. In HL2, they're still alive, they're being eaten (presumably) by the headcrabs, and they have no control over their movements. hen a guy comes up and shoots them in the face or sets them on fire, again while they're alive.

You didn't know that? They're not saying it backwards. They're screaming "OH GOD" "Help meeee!" all the time, it's just garbled. You do realize... They're tecnically still alive? The Head Crabs subsumate their nervous system and rapidly mutate their body, leaving them in constant agony. Death is basically the only mercy you can provide them.

I noticed that when i played, it gives me more of a reason to kill them, out of mercy
