What if an embarrassing video of you made its way on the internet?

Just a thought. I recently watched "Sittin on the toilet" for the first time and I thought if that were to happen to me, I'd off myself the instant it got to a million views. Seriously, though, if that were me, I'd move to Nunavut or Alaska to live in the wilderness so I can avoid human contact for at least 5 years.
In case you wanted to see it

What if it happened to you? Would you go on not giving a fuck or other options? Do you have an embarrassing pic or video of you online somewhere?
I do have an embarrassing pic of me on the internet drunk, but it's nothing compared to some of my friends.

I probably would try to distance myself from it as much as possible, and never refer to it. Ever. And if discussions began about the video, I'd leave.

That video doesn't strike me as embarrassing as it is insanely stupid. Which is typical of the internet.

If you want a reason to be fearful of people watching you, take a waltz over to a voyeur forum.

Trust me, it's already happened.

I tried to sing.

[sub][sub]Although that was when I had literally no practice, and I've quite improved, but still...[/sub][/sub]

There's a video of me and my friends doing some really acting and stupid skits for my sisters Christmas present. It was on a disc with "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows written on it"
No one really took notice.
Doesn't bother me if people see it though.

I will point you to my first two videos on Youtube that I bragged out in High School:

And those are the only two I am not too worried to talk about. I do have one where I lip-synched the "Mickey Rooney's Crazy Pills" Non-sequitur on From Family Guy, and I appear shirtless in that one (If you go blind looking at it, I am sorry).

I have the ability to take them off the internet, but I choose not to, for if nothing else, reminding me that I was a young, rediculous fool. If I have children (or Nieces or Nephews that actually surf the internet in the future) and they find my videos, I'll be embarrassed, but I was cognizant of the fact they went up and they aren't very good now, but I take it and deal with it.

And even if I had a video that was beyond viral but it was me blowing chunks (or ass, what have you), I'd have at least gotten a few minutes of Spotlight, albeit, not doing something awesome, but still, I'd take it. Gotta give somebody something to talk about around the water cooler.

I don't get out much so the chances of this happening to me are so slim it's immeasurable. That being said there already is a 'funny' video of me on my friends' cellphones and it's kind of annoying.

First, there wouldn't be anybody with a camera in my face if I were doing something stupid.

But if they did, they would mysteriously disappear.

*watches video in state of utter befuddlement* My immediate thought is...why the hell do she do that to herself. Anyway, if anything quite so degrading found it's way to the internet I would violently murder everyone involved...and their loved ones. I don't take encroachments onto my privacy beyond my level of comfort lightly.

I'd be greatly suprised someone was able to take the video without me harming them and breaking their camera.

I do not get photographed or videoed, period, end of discussion. I certainly don't in embaressing situation.

If anyone were to take such a record of me, and put it online without my consent, I'd pretty much be contacting a lwyer within seconds.

To be honest, I probably wouldn't be too worried. Unless it goes viral and becomes incredibly popular, most people won't bother remembering what the person looks like. If someone outside of a friend or family member recognized me from the video or image, it would most likely be in a "you seem vaguely familiar to me" kind of way. Besides, I could always grow a beard to help mask my identity if things got really out of hand.

To my knowledge there are no embarrassing pictures or videos of me online. I tend to be rather boring in real life, which I suppose is an advantage in this particular case.

I think somwhere on the internet is a series of videos of me buried up to my head in sand talking to myself for 1 hour, according to people its hilarious, I was just surprised that it turned up there. I have no idea who filmed it or who uploaded it though =/

If it gets posted on the internet, it'll never leave the internet.

With that in mind, you have no control at that point.

So the best you can do is just 'run with it'

Id laugh, and if it became meme or something, id happily take credit for it. Probably even boast about it.

"Yeah, thats my d*ck on the screen. And ive had tens of thousands of women look at it. How many have see yours?"

Honestly, i dont think there is anything embarrassing enough to make me freak out.
