I have discovered I enjoy anime and JRPGs after ignoring their existence for the past decade.

Just got on Netflix one boring afternoon say High School of the Dead, remember someone posting something about it on here, watched it, loved it, and then the chain continued until I already have several favorites lined up I want to actually purchase instead of stream of the interwebz.

I just discovered JRPGs yesterday when I had some extra cash and was looking around a gamestop and saw Final Fantasy 13 for 8 bucks, bought it, love it so far, and will buy part 2 when I get the money.

Bit of a Game Glitch that I don't think people have heard of.

So I was playing the PS3 Version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, In game, you can get in debt with the Casinos (Capped at 1 Million Dollars *Dr. Evil Pinky*) and they send people after you to kill you if you stay in their debt too long.

BUT! Instead of working your ass off to pay off your dues, you can use one of the 70 Stunt Jumps in the game to completely clear your debt. This only works if you haven't already gotten the $500 reward for doing the jump.
Funny, I had that game for years on PS2 and I'm STILL finding new things in it! :D

THey are sooooo deluded but it makes me feel bubbly inside both in a cynical way and and also just because it is fun to watch.
Amnesia is sooooo cheesy and sooo funny.

Got to recommend Persona 4 if you're getting into JRPGs. 3 is really good too (get Persona 3 FES not just Persona 3) but Persona 4 is my favourite game of all time. I don't even particularly care for JRPGs, it's just that good.

I'll also recommend Code Geass and Baka to Test on the anime front. CG because it's got great characters and is the most needlessly melodramatic thing in existence and Baka to Test because it's just SO FUNNY. Just watch the first episode, it's great.

OT: Well this just popped up

LET THE OP BEGIN!

Srsly tho, in the spotlight every single sentence out of Phreak's mouth was like "op, now more op. here's an op move, here's an overpowered move where he doesn't die, here's an overpowered Tryndamere moment. opopopopopopopopop!"

Speaking of interesting stuff and League, I tried Blue Ezreal yesterday for the first time and got a fucking penta... This build. Overpowered. As. Shit.

I discovered the word "Comfy"

...for my whole life, I've been saying "Comfty" and nobody said anything. Yesterday, I was talking to my friends on Facebook and mentioned "The Big Comfty Couch" and noticed that "Comfty" was coming up as an incorrectly spelled word... brought this up with my friends and my mind was fucking blown!

I discovered Attack on Titan. After watching so many parodies of its opening it was only a matter of time before I checked it out for myself.

Already watched and loved Baka to Test, Baka and Test, not sure how it really is supposed to be written. After they spend three episodes trying to break into the girl's bathing area I was sold.

As a note, that was the best champion spotlight I have ever seen. "I get ganked by two op champs, they think they kill me, I magically heal with blood magic and then fly away". OP in manifest form.

I discovered that Wrocław, a large city in South-Western Poland, is not pronounced as Raw-Claw, but as Vrawts- waf. The more you know.

I recently found out about the Spoor Spider. It is one of the coolest little creatures out there.

It hunts by spreading a web in the and and making a blanket.

Yes, a blanket!

Do't believe me? See for yourself below.

I have discovered that the Russian word for "brother" is брат, which is pronounced "brat".

So many questions have been answered.

Recently started watching MST3K on YouTube.

I don't think I've laughed this hard since Life of Brian...

I've been a MiSTie since the mid 90's. My new brother... prepare yourself for awesome.

Then steel yourself for disappointment that in near two decades nothing funnier has come out

Other than rifftrax, but that's hit or miss depending if you really want to see big budget films.

Oh, Caution. Do not enter in conversations of who is better, Joel or Mike. Jews and Nazis have better conversations than Staunch Joel or Mike enthusiasts.

That blood flows towards women nether regions when they are stimulated by almost ANY sex related content ( http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/25/magazine/25desire-t.html?pagewanted=all ). As a male I never expected girls would get wet by watching bonobo on bonobo action, but... so far I seem to be wrong.

Mantis Shrimp. Full stop. I remember hearing briefly about their claw attack sometime before, but never really paid much attention. Then I came across this, which made far more of an impact on me. In particular, the part about their color vision completely blew my mind.

not exactly "discovered", but recently realised to the full extent:

these circles of dappled light are not just that but instead actual projected images of the sun.

More than one shrimp can light the sea on fire. If the mantis shrimp is the Bruce Lee of the aquatic world, the pistol shrimp [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pistol_shrimp] is the Clint Eastwood. It's claw is literally a gun.

...Come to think of it, the pistol shrimp seems more in line with what I remember hearing beforehand. Huh.

This freaky critter.

Has a see through head, and the big green blobs are its eyes. Seemingly because every creature living in the deep ocean participates in a competition to be as fucking hideous and weird as possible...

Still pretty interesting though.
