Got to recommend Persona 4 if you're getting into JRPGs. 3 is really good too (get Persona 3 FES not just Persona 3) but Persona 4 is my favourite game of all time. I don't even particularly care for JRPGs, it's just that good.Elfgore said:I have discovered I enjoy anime and JRPGs after ignoring their existence for the past decade.
Just got on Netflix one boring afternoon say High School of the Dead, remember someone posting something about it on here, watched it, loved it, and then the chain continued until I already have several favorites lined up I want to actually purchase instead of stream of the interwebz.
I just discovered JRPGs yesterday when I had some extra cash and was looking around a gamestop and saw Final Fantasy 13 for 8 bucks, bought it, love it so far, and will buy part 2 when I get the money.
Already watched and loved Baka to Test, Baka and Test, not sure how it really is supposed to be written. After they spend three episodes trying to break into the girl's bathing area I was sold. The Wykydtron said:Got to recommend Persona 4 if you're getting into JRPGs. 3 is really good too (get Persona 3 FES not just Persona 3) but Persona 4 is my favourite game of all time. I'll also recommend Code Geass and Baka to Test on the anime front. CG because it's got great characters and is the most needlessly melodramatic thing in existence and Baka to Test because it's just SO FUNNY. Just watch the first episode, it's great.
OT: Well this just popped up

LET THE OP BEGIN!
Srsly tho, in the spotlight every single sentence out of Phreak's mouth was like "op, now more op. here's an op move, here's an overpowered move where he doesn't die, here's an overpowered Tryndamere moment. opopopopopopopopop!"
Speaking of interesting stuff and League, I tried Blue Ezreal yesterday for the first time and got a fucking penta... This build. Overpowered. As. Shit.
I've been a MiSTie since the mid 90's. My new brother... prepare yourself for awesome.optimusjamie said:Recently started watching MST3K on YouTube.
I don't think I've laughed this hard since Life of Brian...
More than one shrimp can light the sea on fire. If the mantis shrimp is the Bruce Lee of the aquatic world, the pistol shrimp [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pistol_shrimp] is the Clint Eastwood. It's claw is literally a gun.Asita said:Mantis Shrimp. Full stop. I remember hearing briefly about their claw attack sometime before, but never really paid much attention. Then I came across this, which made far more of an impact on me. In particular, the part about their color vision completely blew my mind.
...Come to think of it, the pistol shrimp seems more in line with what I remember hearing beforehand. Huh.Kolby Jack said:More than one shrimp can light the sea on fire.
