I was kinda curious at what the funniest game that you guys have ever played?
I would have to say that portal 2 has been the funniest over all experience for me.

However there have been some games for me that have made me laugh a lot. The laughing scene from Final fantasy x was one of the funniest things ive ever seen just because of how bad it was. Alsoi would like to add that super smash bros is the game that i laughed the most while playing just because i always had my friends around

Saints Row 3 or Portal 2 easily ring a bell.

Any game that has this for an Action scene:

Is outright fuckin' hilarious.

Tough call...Day of the Tentacle? Sam and Max Hit the Road? Grim Fandango?
Naaah, they're good sure, but they're trying to be funny. No, the Baldur's Gate Trilogy wins for me. You don't think BG is funny? Then you aren't playing with Jan Jansen in your party.

You wanna have a look at the Disgaea series, Psychonauts, anything by Tim Schafer, Portal 1 & 2, the Katamari series, for sheer wtf-ness.

In no particular order:

Portal 1
Portal 2
Saints Row: The Third
Borderlands 1: General Knoxx's Secret Armoury (DLC)
Borderlands 1: The Robolution (DLC)

*Borderlands as a game was kinda funny but I thought the DLCs were more amusing :)
(This clip is from the game and not from the DLC)

I don't even know anymore. There certainly are funnier games, but the series that always sticks out in my mind regarding comedy games is the Money Island series. Even when the laughs aren't out loud, the overall tone is so humorous.

Yup. Took me some time to get over the jump Saints Row had made since the second game. The wackyness was a bit overwhelming, but I really got into it in the end.

Portals sense of humor is just amazing.

Every chapter, new weirdness. I especially enjoyed the second game.

I'd also add the Katamari and Lego games. Katamari for its overall happy atmosphere and being just so crazy Japanese and the Lego games for the way they can get away with slapstick humor.

The Portal games, Saints Row The Third, and Fallout: New Vegas: Old World Blues are all strong contenders, but I think I'm going to have to give it to Portal 2. The co-op in Portal 2 in particular may be the hardest I've ever laughed at any game, between Portal's usual extremely clever writing and my partner and I constantly accidentally killing each other in retarded ways.

The only games I can think of that had me laughing out loud (non maniacally) are Portal (1 & 2) and Fallout New Vegas, in the Old World Blues DLC.

Everything General Knoxx ever said. Also that bit in Bad Company where the guy starts running towards the enemy yelling "There's gold in them hills!"

Rock of Ages by far. It won for just one joke that was so brilliant I laughed through the end of the cutscene, through the level loading screen, and I had to pause the game for about 7 minutes more because I was still laughing. It was the funniest thing I've seen since Zardoz (which kept me at least chuckling throughout its whole run time even though it wasn't trying to be funny.)

Rock of Ages isn't for everyone, though. To get it you have to have a working knowledge of medieval-Napoleonic era European history and Greek/Roman mythology. Ideally, you should also like Terry Gilliam cartoons, art history, and rolling befaced boulders down hills so as to smash through stuff.

Niche humor is the best.
