What is this Mass Effect music called? I must know!

I've been trying to find the name to this one piece of music from the Mass Effect games, but it just doesn't seem to be anywhere I look. Can the Escapist help a brother guy out?

It's the first piece of music that plays in this video. I love it with all the depths of my heart, but I have never seen it named.

Vigil, I'm pretty sure.

Yep, I believe it's called Vigil. Since (IIRC) it plays when you meet Vigil.

They also reused it as the Tali/Rannoch theme in ME3, as well as various other points across the series.

Did you... not play Mass Effect 1? It's the menu music. It's literally the first piece of music you hear in the whole series.

Not having a dig or anything, not knowing the actual name of the track is perfectly understandable. It's just a little odd for me, being a big fan of the series, to see someone asking about it, giving it's probably Mass Effect's most well known bit of music.

I played Mass Effect 1 when it first came out, which was about five and a half years ago, on an Xbox 360 (which I no longer have), when I was about thirteen and didn't pay attention to such thing.

So, yeah. Believe me, I feel plenty dumb.
