Baltic philology, specialised in linguistics.
Optimally i'd like to work on cognitive linguistics, but that's in the unforseeable future.

I'm also pursuing an English degree with a focus in creative writing. I love writing stories and I'm currently working on my first full-length dark fantasy novel.

Oh, believe me, walking into a job is not going to happen. Regardless of my degree. There are literally no jobs around at the moment, and the only firms hiring Maths graduates at the moment are the exact type of company I don't want to work for. Finance groups, banks, accountancy firms, actuaries, that sort of thing.
Suck it up and work there for a while. You'll be getting two things that are really valuable: a better looking resume when you leave and a source of income for however long you're going to work there.
The man has a point.. There's loads of jobs for Mathematicians, you just need to know where to look! Teaching is a great one if it interests you (and currently you get quite a lot of money for even considering teaching Mathematics!). Other than that it all depends on what you specialised in (pure, applied, statistics, OR).

For me I'm in my Masters year of a Mathematics degree, considering doing a PhD in London in pure Mathematics.

I'm curious as to what my fellow escapists have degrees in. I am currently working om my Bachelor's degree in English, I intend to teach High School.

What is your degree? Or what subject do you intend to attain one in? And, what do you intend to do with it?
Wow good luck with teaching at a high school, I have a question though, do you see yourself as a strict or lenient teacher?

I don't have a degree yet, due to my age but I was thinking about getting one in Theoretical Physics or Chemistry or Medicine.

Have been studying a BSc joint Physics and Maths, but because of the grades I got the other day, I may well get my wish of switching over to an MPhys Theoretical Physics and Maths. Exciting stuff.

I'm looking into Summer Internships just now to if if research would be my bag. My teachers at school said they could see me as a researcher, I had much enthusiasm for my science subjects.

I'm studying Industrial Design Engineering, in my second year. It's pretty nice, but I don't know yet what I'm going to do with it.

No degree...took three years University with focus in Finance but was unable to pass one of the key courses despite help from the professor, and dedicated studying times with one of the 95% students.

I suppose if I were capable of succeeding at it, I would get that degree...however, the jobs in the field do not interest me and I would continue to do call center work regardless.

I'm one year away from university. As long as my grades don't horribly implode I plan on studying a double degree of a BChemEng and a BSc majoring in chemistry.....I like chemistry.

Electronics & Telecomms Engineering
Latter focus on High Frequency Telecomms (which was an epic mindfuck I've gotta say). Basically GHz communication - as a result of which I will personally slap anyone who says "I don't use a mobile phone because it cooks your brain")

One of my lecturers was part of the team that did the first research into microwaves at Oxford - he knew what he was talking about.
