yet another poll about bioshock. Anyway personally I favored the drill and spear gun why? because of their brutality. what weapons do you favor? also if you don't have a favorite weapon just name a plasmid that you like

I absolutley loved the spear gun. There isn't anything quite as satisfying as watching a splicer get impaled on a wall.
Weapon of real men? BAH! I used the 'Drill Specialist' Tonic for half of the game... Right up until the end. If you are unaware what that is, it is the tonic that makes it so you can't use any weapons except the hack tool, the drill, and the camera but, plasmids cost next to nothing. That's the weapon of real men... No weapon at all.AjimboB said:

The drill, combined with the charge combat tonic and drill-freeze tonic, whatever they're actually called.
Charging across a room to smash a splicer with your drill, which freezes it so a second hit cracks 'em, priceless.

I favored the drill a lot. Enough that I grabbed and used every drill tonic that I could find, including Drill Specialist that limited me to basically just using the drill as the predominant weapon. It is a neat weapon to play around with, and it felt quite appropriate to use throughout the course of the game. Also something about the combination of Drill Specialist, Freezing Drill, and Winter Blast proved to be a really fun combination to play the game through with. So much icy death.

Rivet gun with the Phosphorus upgrade. I liked laying down trap rivets during protection missions and listening to splicers scream in pain running around on fire.... Then running into oil slicks catching more people on fire.

The Harpoon gun. Oh the joy of nailing people to walls and then getting to reuse my ammo on another poor splicer. Reminded me why I became an Archer class in Oblivion.
Easily the shotgun. It made killing Splicers so much easier, and the Phospohorus buck is really fun to use on Medium. On hard, it just sucks though.
I was heavily a user a Spear Gun Big Daddy. Coupled with the Natural Camoflauge gene tonic, I could lurk around plasmids, find an excellent sniping spot and blast them halfway across the area, watching them shriek as a spear smashed them into a far wall. Satisfying.
